I have ordered the exact, and I mean exact dish combos for the past 10+ times I've been here. The flavor profile and consistency are the same across the board. I have not been disappointed once!

No need to mention just how difficult that is to achieve across the board within the restaurant industry. That's a feat in itself!

The lamb skewers are grilled over charcoal in the back kitchen just like at GUI upstairs. You just don't see it but you can def taste it. This is still better than the GUI Irvine location which doesn't have any charcoals taste.

Order exactly these:
Go for the basil clams, spicy black bean paste intestines, and the spicy crawfish. Add any veggie dish and you're set.

“Great sports and beer bar. They have lots of TVs playing a variety of games. Their beer list is pretty good where they mix the standard beer selections with local craft beer selections. Service is always great...they serve by committee so you can order and ask question from whatever server is nearby. Very good food for a beer/sports bar.“

“Shout out to Baran Mediterranean restaurant. We had a superbowl/ 50th birthday party yesterday and everything was literally perfect. Food/staff/ decorations/ cake, everything was perfect. “The girlfriend and I just moved here and checked this place out as it was close to home and had great reviews.

I had the smash burger and she had the chicken sandwich; both were delicious and the fact that they offer sweet potato fries is a plus. Extra points for the ranch, which was some of the best I’ve had and I never have ranch with anything.

Bartender didn’t have what I wanted but suggested an alternative and we both liked it.

I’m not only if she friendly and acknowledges any and every person who walks in she’s not like other bartenders I’ve seen other establishments who are on their phone more than they are working. She brings in a collective of different patrons all friendly Never once not felt safe when I am there It’s a shame the other Bartenders at this places sister establishment in Covina were as well Trained as Rosie. Took 3 minutes to be seated then we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive waiter I’ve EVER had at any restaurant . I’m a huge lover of the cabbage salad so I gorged on a big bowl before dinner. I ordered a medium rare fillet and potato and it was cooked to perfection. I so wish I lived nearby as I would pay it a regular visit. I’m so glad the Clearmans Northwoods inn has not been changed.“

“We tried this little bar while we were visiting friends in the Uptown Whittier area. It's an eclectic little cocktail lounge with speakeasy vibes. We loved the decor and the ambience was great with dimmed soft red lights that made the place very relaxing. They had happy hour going on and we tried the queso con chorizo dip. It came really hot so it was watery and when we tried it, it was oily and mushy. However, once it cooled, the dish was solidified and the flavors really merged and popped- the oaxaca cheese, poblano peppers, and chorizo really blended together into a delicious dish. I highly recommend you try it! They have specialty drinks but carry a full bar and can make many other drinks. I really enjoyed their specialty drinks although they were very small. We spent about an hour there, then headed to dinner with friends. The staff was great and attentive. They were very nice and really explained their menu. It was a cute little place that were definitely visiting again when we're in town.“
