“Had a great experience here!

The self service to avoid tipping was great! And we still had excellent service from the kitchen staff despite them not getting tips.
The lady who served us our food was so welcoming and kind.

Plenty of parking in the lot (though it could get crowded).

Plenty of seating inside.

We ordered the milk tea as our free hot drink and it was so good!

We also ordered the fried chicken (perfectly crispy and good), the thousand year old congee (very tasty and goes well with the fried bread/yotel), and shrimp wonton (the egg noodles worked well and the shrimp was good).

I love that you can pick your side dishes (the salted peanuts were so good and the fried shallots) yourself at the back counter.

“My wife and I love this place. The staff and owners are always so nice. Customer service is impeccable and their coffee and earl grey latte are cheff kiss. We also enjoy their shredded beef burrito and bulgogi sandwich. Over all a must try.“

“This was our first visit to Sunny on South. We arrived around 1 pm, and we were immediately seated. We chose the patio area, as it looked much more pleasant than the inside seating.
My wife chose the Short Rib Birria Benedict. Two poached eggs, on shredded beef-rib meat and hashbrowns. We both agreed that it was a tasty meal. I chose the BIG Ern's Corned beef hash. This item included corned beef, diced potatoes, a couple of eggs, and a choice of bread. I wasn't as satisfied with the hash as my wife was with her meal. The potato chunks were a little large. The corned beef was a bit stingy and not prepared in a way that I could consider it hash. If you are a fan of corned beef hash, I suggest that you skip this dish. Both items were priced under $20.
We found the service to be fairly good. We were able to order in a reasonable amount of time, and our food arrived in a timely manner. However, it took some time to get boxes for our leftovers and the check.
Overall, we would eat here again, but it might not be our first choice.“

“Love the kimchi fried rice here, as well as the chicken and waffles plate. The portions are generous-definitely shareable. Their matcha drinks are well-balanced and gorgeously layered. I tried the lavender matcha and although I am not a fan of matcha in general, this one was GOOD. Would get again. Plenty of seating, but I do feel like it’s a little too cozy inside for me. I also have a toddler, so that definitely contributes. Food and service are both easy to navigate and it gets delivered quickly. It’s busy here, and I like that it’s next to the hospital because it gives a really nice alternative for patients or their families. Very reasonably priced for the size of portions that you receive. Would visit again, and I definitely feel this is a cute neighborhood staple.“

She was very knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive to our dining experience All our plates were good except the Steak was a little to fatty which was not very desirable. And $3 for a can of coke was a bit expensive and excessive in price. But the service and rear of our food was great. Would definitely go back.“
