Casa Alvarez Reviews
Love Casa Alvarez being going there since 1973 when I move to Rowland Hts I order my food to take out every body are very nice I go there very often so some of them already recognize my voice in the phone and know my name too THE FOOD IS ALWAYS DELICIOUS I NEVER HAVE NO PROBLEMS ME ENCANTA LA COMIDA MEXICANA THANK YOU GRACIAS 😊
The food was delicious, our waitress was kinda rude, but the food made up for it. We went at 9 am when they opened on a Monday. Seemed like everyone working there was cranky. We left her a good tip in hopes it made her day better.
Honestly underrated, fresh, genuine Mexican food some of the best I’ve ever had. Keep doing what you guys are doing everything was amazing 10/10!

Casa Alvarez offers a menu with both traditional Mexican dishes and American-style breakfast options. The roast beef with shrimp dish received mixed reviews, with the meat described as unseasoned and the bacon on the shrimp as very brown. The pineapple water was good but lacked the natural pineapple flavor. The house flan had a slight egg smell. While the Machaca breakfast dish was praised for its tenderness, the salsa was criticized for needing more heat. Portion sizes were appropriate, but the food was described as greasy. The restaurant seems to cater more towards non-vegetarian diners, as the vegetarian options were limited. Customers have enjoyed the freshly made, savory breakfast options, and the service is friendly and attentive, even when busy. The menu includes favorites like crunchy beef tacos, which are perfectly seasoned and covered with lettuce and cheese, and large, crispy chicken flats that are delicious. The place is known for its minimal spice, making it suitable for those who prefer milder flavors, often serving everything with sour cream. Overall, Casa Alvarez combines good food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere, especially appealing to those leaning towards Tex-Mex style rather than authentic Mexican spiciness.
