Mr. Frog Eater depends on luck! If there are enough frogs in the market, his frog meat will be praised by those who praise it! If the market is out of stock, their frogs will be few and stale, and you may even taste dead frogs...it depends on your luck.
hot pot is so delicious！
Delicious food.
Mr. Frog restaurant is a great place to try tomato bullfrog, which is said to be even more delicious than tomato hot pot. The juice of the dish is thick and becomes even juicier with the addition of sweet potato skins and thousand-leaf tofu. The frog meat is tender and has a chicken-like flavor. Two recommended flavors are Basil and Spicy & Sour. The Basil flavor is a favorite, but it can be quite salty, so it's advised to request less salt. The Spicy & Sour flavor improves as it simmers.
As for side dishes, fresh cucumbers, fried rice crusts, hot & sour chicken feet, mixed seaweed, and fries are recommended. The fried rice crusts are especially delicious when fresh and hot, dipped in the basil sauces from the basil frog pot.
Service is reported to be average, and the restaurant was not busy during the reviewer's visits, including a Friday night. However, the use of plastic cups for hot water was criticized. Overall, Mr. Frog restaurant is recommended for those craving frog meat, with a note to request less salt in the Basil flavor.
