The place was amazing for vegetarians. Different types of options you can choose from. There was plenty of parking in the lot as well.

Great vegan food.
Rally cool staff. Everyone was laid back, attentive, and caring.
The interior needs a remodel. The dining room is a little rough. But they're doing what they can, and it's a great place to eat and vibe.

Not much to see on the outside but nice once you walk in. We had karma rolls and a soup and enjoyed both which were full of veggies. The curry was too salty for us, but we still enjoyed overall.

Only been here a few times but over several years and always had good food

This review is mostly for their rolls— I’ve developed a habit to grab them to go on my way home, fresh and yummy! Maha mushrooms are pretty bomb as well

Yummiest all vegetarian Viet restaurant in town. A staple for many years. Highly recommend.

They have a very good variety of vegan options. Everything I ate tasted freshly prepared, seasoned well, and the portion sizes were generous. One of the dishes we ordered was the Hot Pot. I didn’t have any but it was told it was a little too heavy on the ginger. The exterior is kind of deceiving but the inside is nice. We will be back.

I really wanted to like this place. I’m vegetarian, the zen theme with Buddhist art all of it was inviting. The food unfortunately was way below average. Felt like few vegetables and fake meat was drizzled in soy sauce and put on our plate. The pho type noodle soup had zero flavor, tasted like boiled water. It’s super expensive too, 20$ per dish which makes the overall experience pretty poor.

I previously reviewed Andy Nguyen's with a better score for service, but still less than 5. The food is still an absolute 6☆, as is the atmosphere, but the service has gotten even worse. The younger ladies working on Sunday afternoons just don't want to be bothered. They'll take your order and deliver your food, but there's nothing in between. No water refills, clearing of appetizer plates, asking if everything is ok, can they bring anything else, nothing! Except delivery of our bill!!What was worse, the sauce I asked for when my food was delivered was not brought after 3 or 4 minutes, while I watched our server on her phone behind the counter. I finally got up, went inside, and asked for the sauce. I then carried it to my table outside myself, where my food by then was very cold. This was a repeat performance of my first visit. The same scenario happened. They do not care to provide great service or simply don't know what great service is. I go to appease my vegetarian BFF and have been leaning into the lifestyle myself. I like to learn flavors to better mimic them when I'm teaching myself to cook at home. But great food must be balanced by decent service at the very least. In this area, complete fail.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarians, this menu does not disappoint. AND on the occasions you want to go out with carnivore friends, this is the place to take us. I loved the food. The fried tofu was my favorite. I also really loved the faux teriyaki beef and noodle dish.

Dietary restrictions: While there's a great vegetarian menu, those sensitive to gluten and soy for protein just need to pay attention to what's in the ingredients of each dish. Not difficult to navigate.

The food is amazing. The service was poor. I was given water and then left alone for 15 mins. I was in a time crunch so I went inside to order. The cashier spoke so softly, I couldn't hear a word they said. I asked for the food to be prepared to eat at the restaurant, but they gave it to me to-go despite my request, unnecessarily wasting packaging.

I remember back in the day when Andy Nguyen's was a meat-serving basic Viet spot. Thankfully they saw the light years ago, embraced their Buddhist influences, and transformed this small space on Broadway into a modern Viet-fusion restaurant that is all vegetarian and 90% vegan. The food here is flavorful and satisfying, but if you're looking for spicy then ask for the sriracha. Make sure to check out the Sacramento Vegan Chef Challenge menu that runs all October each year!

The food has been lacking a bit for the cost but it is still a great spot.. There's an unusual amount of sugar in many dishes which could be improved with more spices and less sugar. I would recommend trying it for sure!

First, I loved the intimate atmosphere, it’s instantly welcoming the moment you walk in. The fry’s were to *die* for, do not leave without trying their Karmic fries, best vegan fries I’ve ever had! The vegan options are almost overwhelming. I think the mobile ordering without physical menus makes it hard to decide what to order, so maybe physical menus would help with the selection? But it’s a good problem to have because it stems from the “issue” of having endless vegan options! I liked my main course, but I didn’t *love* it. I think the vegan meats were really well done, and this is definitely a place I’d like to return to again. Absolutely a must-try in sac, and I’ll be returning!
