I usually just come here on Sundays for the menudo. However, when I got to the restaurant at 4pm it was sold out. I ordered the shrimp ceviche tostadas. I felt like I was eating more tomatoes than shrimp and the lime juice tasted old. They have a great selection of chile salsas. The carnita fries were delicious. The food came out at a decent time. They also have a full bar, drinks are good. There is plenty of parking.

Love the Birrai here the most. The place is super great. This is my second time here and this place does not disappoint you. Classic Margaritas are a bomb .., try it if you can. Will be here every time I am in the neighborhood of Sacramento

Loved the tacos! The taco shell stayed crispy the whole time and didn't get soggy. The flavors were perfect and these are by far the best quesabirria tacos I've ever had. We went on Valentine's Day and it wasn't really that busy but steady and they made the food really fast too. Customer service was really good too

Excellent dinner! Of course our eyes were bigger than our stomachs but the food warms up nicely if you have left overs. French fries are cooked perfect! The condiments bar is great & has everything you need to complete your meal (a variety of salsas & sauces, radishes, chips, etc). They have fountain drinks as well Jarrett's. They also have a full bar. They have an extensive menu. The customer service is very friendly. Fast service. Lots of booths & tables & 4 big TV's. And last but not least the playlist (reggae/island music) is the vibe any tho this is a Mexican Restaurant.

Our go to place to order with Door Dash/delivery but I have also been there n person. Prices are amazing compared to other restaurants. Food is constantly great, I order carne asada plate the most... husband loves their breakfast burritos! Restaurant is clean and staff friendly.
Not sure what happened but this place used to be my togo place to grab carne asada fries and burrito. Now it's mainly just a burrito which I would say hits the spot due to its closeness factor to where I live.Carnitas or al pastor burritos always slap. I haven't found a good carne asada burrito place yet. Their tacos are great but I would actually go to jalapanos for that if you're willing to travel to midtown (which also has fantastic fries). The salsa bar is pretty typical so it fills a taqueria urge. However, Vallarta has a better selection in EG so if you like your toppings I would go there.Carne asada fries are pretty bad nowadays. Last time I tried it nearly a year ago, it was great texture for fries and toppings were great. Beans is an iffy issue with carne asada fries because they can make it mushy so you gotta eat it quick. However, you know you can never go wrong so it's all good in the end. Moving forward to today, the fries are so bad I'm not sure what to say. It's like they just boiled it AND THAT'S IT. There's no crispy texture it's just super mushy so why would I pay 13.50 for this? You know it's bad when you take a fork and it breaks apart before it reaches your mouth.It could be that I walked home with fries but no way it should be this bad after a few minutes of walking. The toppings were just as I remember it which is great but the fries is the foundation so if that sucks everything sucks. I don't get it. If you want decent fries I guess and stay in EG, I would hit up vallarta or the one food truck near EG (franklin blvd and bruceville rd) walmart. Those fries are that much more superior and worth the hassle to get over this. I haven't tried the other nearby places for fries because these two are easily accessible from my area and aren't iffy when biking too

My husband and I came here on a Friday night w/my father-in-law. It was pretty packed and seemed to be "the" place to be. We were able to snag a booth for us 3. Open seating. Their menu was pretty extensive but the font was so small on both the screens and their hard copy menu which wasn't any better. Please make the menu font larger so we're not straining our eyes. I enjoyed everything I ordered! Crunchy taco of carne asada, quesabirria (w/consome), and a regular al pastor street taco. 3 items was perfect for me. complimentary chips & salsa bar at the front. Once our food came out, we noticed our drinks had been forgotten. I got up to ask one of the workers who was mopping, and she was prompt to bring us our drinks. She was very friendly and also the one who took our order so that's why I asked her. Their agua de pina (pineapple) was good and not overly sweet. I would be interested in coming back to try their other items. When we left, all of the tables were taken and more and more people were coming.
