My only criticism is that I’d like to see the Commander stocked year round; Sacramento doesn’t have enough Belgian ales!“

“A big fan of Bike Dog for both locations. Was unpleasantly surprised today to find out that they no longer allow dogs inside of this location. It was stated that because they partner with Sellands for their food, they are considered a restaurant now. I find this perplexing because under the Health and Safety Code this would not permit Bike Dog from allowing dogs inside.“

“The inside and front tables are nice but the back patio is fabulous. No street noise, breezes and sunshine, the perfect place to enjoy a beer. Some nice options on tap, but a usual an inordinate amount of IPAs. Something like 60-75% of the board, which is the trend at the moment for breweries. I had high hopes for the food truck but that didn't pan out. Next door Nepalese restaurant is where it's at.“

“When I first went to Fire Taproom, I was truly amazed. The atmosphere, including the workers, were extremely friendly. The food I ordered (the Classic Burger) was absolutely delicious. My kids ordered the Chicken Tenders and wouldn't stop telling me about how much they loved it. My husband ordered the FTR Chicken Sandwich and really liked it. The fries were also amazingly seasoned, unlike any other restaurant I have been to before. The place was truly amazing, and I can't wait to come again.“

My husband and I recently discovered Sacrament Brewing, and it honestly felt like finding a hidden gem. Tucked away from the usual busy spots, this place has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We came in for a beer and ended up having a great time just relaxing and enjoying the moment.

The highlight was definitely the bartender—a super friendly and upbeat young woman who made us feel right at home. She recommended a beer that turned out to be exactly what we were looking for, and we loved it. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it added so much to the experience.

The whole place has a chill, laid-back vibe that makes you want to stay longer. Whether you’re just passing through or live nearby, it’s 100% worth a visit. We’ll absolutely be coming back!“
