My husband and I had a quick lunch at their Arden Way location. It's a small stand/shack, nothing fancy but the food was very good. If one is not familiar with Chandos, they will have missed out. Don't be afraid to try something new. if you see a line of people at a restaurant, or a food place, you know that the food is good.
LOVE THE FOOD!! I'm a HUGE Mexican foodie and this place always has great food. The asada tacos are my favorite and I've tried nearly all of them so definitely recommend these over the other options. I tried three of their tamales and I would suggest having the rajas con queso and the pork tamales but the chicken one was good as well. The food is fantastic: there are fresh flavour combinations like the fried potatoes taco and spinach-mushroom taco. The Arden location reminds me of roadside eateries in rural Mexico. It's a bit shabby-looking yet they make it as cozy as possible thanks to great service.
