“I ordered their maple & cinnamon latte, it’s definitely on the sweeter side but it was still very good. For future reference, I’d ask for it less sweet, I was missing the espresso flavor. My friend ordered their lavender matcha latte and really enjoyed it.
It was our first visit and was a little indecisive on what to order and we felt like the cashier wasn’t as helpful or friendly. The barista made up for it and was super friendly and gave us recommendations with letting us know his favorite drinks and what’s popular amongst the customers.
I’d visit again“

“Their latte and pastries are phenomenal. It's very relaxing and homey inside, and the person working there is very kind. The patio is a great space to sit back and do your own thing as well. If you go to any cafe, I'd recommend this one 🙂“

“What a vibe! Came here to have a work day. Great location for focus & productivity. Nice music. Great staff and incredible food/drink offerings!
I really loved the avocado toast on sourdough with an egg 🍳 delicious!
Also maple bacon was the best bacon 🥓 I’ve ever had…
Matcha green tea latte was fire 🔥
Also got a decaf maple oat milk latte. Coffee was on point! Yum!“

“Sitting outside and drinking a lavender fields latte at CFCR was so nice! They have lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful Sacramento weather!
The latte was very good and the pastries looked great, but they did not have any gluten free options for food.
Overall great coffee shop close to UC Davis Medical center!“

“I get a large iced white mocha and the cheese and ham croissant every time I go in. I've yet to be disappointed. Even when different people make my drink it stays consistent. Not to mention the employees are amazing.“

“Growing up in Sacramento but not living here for almost 40 years, I have been fascinated by the changes. I needed a break place during a recent drive and found Chocolate Fish. What a great vibe. Open space, strong wifi, and excellent latte. The two people at the counter were excellent: helpful and friendly. I don't get to Sac often, but this will definitely be on the radar for the next time I need a stopover latte.“

“love coming here by myself or to chat with others. horchata cold brew is a must, but all of the iced teas are amazing. wish they had more allergen-friendly food options is literally the only downside.“
