“Coffee is the best in town, but they’re also a business that gives back to the community! After reaching out to support a nonprofit event, Temple promptly responded that they’d cover the coffee…for 50 people! Amazed by their generosity and very thankful to have Temple in Davis.“

“Continuing my Greater Sacramento coffee tour. Seeking basic elements to ID my happy place. This spot definitely nailed most of it - if not all.
Super cool corner in midtown.
Crazy cool vibe inside and outside - tons of elbow room.
Extra cool factor is no noise level to a point where my 104 year old Gma couldn’t hear our convo.
The Ethiopian drip coffee super delicious and perfectly hot hot hot!
I don’t eat but the food options were exciting to look at and unique and yummy looking.“

“I ride with a friend and we use the Sac State property enntrance right next to The Mill. We stopped in the other day after a very cold ride for some coffee. The place is very clean with plenty of parking. There is a safe place around back to prop your bikes uo which is nice. Coffeee was good and well made, the staff was nice but it did take a while to get our drinks. This is ok but there was no explanation given until I took the coffee's, minor issue for sure... they do havea large variety of tea's and tea accessories also.“

“I recently stopped by Temple Coffee Roasters in Sacramento, and it’s hands-down one of the best coffee experiences I’ve had in a while! This place is a haven for coffee lovers, with a vibe that’s equal parts cozy and cool. I tried their single-origin Ethiopian pour-over, and it was a revelation—smooth, bright, and bursting with fruity notes that made me savor every sip. Their baristas clearly know their craft; they handled the brew with precision and even chatted with me about the coffee’s origins, which added a personal touch I really appreciated.
The space itself is stylish yet unpretentious—think industrial-chic with warm accents, plenty of natural light, and a patio that’s perfect for soaking up a sunny day. I also grabbed a Bliss Tea (peppermint with steamed coconut and soy milk plus honey), and it was pure comfort in a cup—unique and delicious. The pastry case caught my eye too; the almond croissant was flaky, buttery, and paired perfectly with my drink. Prices are a bit steep—my pour-over was around $5—but the quality justifies it, and you can tell they’re serious about sourcing and roasting their beans sustainably.
The only slight downside? Seating can get tight during peak hours, so I had to wait a bit for a spot. But honestly, it’s worth it. Temple Coffee Roasters isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s a whole vibe, blending top-notch drinks with a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a caffeine geek or just looking for a great hangout, this place delivers. Can’t wait to go back!“

“As far as drinks go, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better range of high quality drinks in the neighborhood. In all of Sacramento this is definitely in my top 3 of favorite coffee shops! The cold brew with crème and orange zest(can’t remember the name for the life of me, is quickly becoming one of my favorite drinks in Sacramento! Definitely recommend this coffee shop.“

“Sitting outside and drinking a lavender fields latte at CFCR was so nice! They have lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful Sacramento weather!
The latte was very good and the pastries looked great, but they did not have any gluten free options for food.
Overall great coffee shop close to UC Davis Medical center!“

“I get a large iced white mocha and the cheese and ham croissant every time I go in. I've yet to be disappointed. Even when different people make my drink it stays consistent. Not to mention the employees are amazing.“

“Growing up in Sacramento but not living here for almost 40 years, I have been fascinated by the changes. I needed a break place during a recent drive and found Chocolate Fish. What a great vibe. Open space, strong wifi, and excellent latte. The two people at the counter were excellent: helpful and friendly. I don't get to Sac often, but this will definitely be on the radar for the next time I need a stopover latte.“

“love coming here by myself or to chat with others. horchata cold brew is a must, but all of the iced teas are amazing. wish they had more allergen-friendly food options is literally the only downside.“
