We have ordered take out/delivery through door dash and decided to head in to the restaurant! Great space, tvs, background music, but still quiet enough to have a conversation! Food was delicious as ever!
Sunday after church place to eat

Based on the reviews, El Favorito | Taqueria Cocina Mexicana is a new favorite restaurant. The food has way more flavor, tastes way fresher, and comes out hot. The quessabirria special is amazing, and the posole is the best restaurant posole since moving to sac. The coctel de camaron and chiles rellenos are fire, and the lengua super burrito with refried beans is a must-try. The salsa bar is on point, the chips are delicious, and the green salsa is amazing. The restaurant is LGBT friendly with a kind community of workers and has gluten free options. There is a wide beer selection and full bar, and the customer service is 10/10. However, coming later in the evening near closing time may feel rushed.
