Had a craving for pupusas on the way home from the airport and stopped into La Sonsonateca. Couldn't be more happy with our experience and food quality. There is plenty of seating for large groups and we appreciated the aesthetic! The gentleman who took our orders and brought us our meals was very nice and accommodating. This has been our favorite pupusa spot since we moved to this area last year. My husband is Salvadoran and VERY picky when it comes to Salvadoran food. We have tried many pupusa places around the area and La Sonsonateca is our favorite! The pupusas are cooked to order, so they are fresh and delicious.
