“We love coming here!! It is two adults with three kids and it can get pricey. However, the food is DELICIOUS and my kids will actually eat all their food so we know it will be worth it. The owner is always so kind and sweet. He always makes sure to make sure we have everything. Once I had gone with just my kids and he helped create a safe place for them there and I appreciate that so much. They now also have games to play and the best part is that they are free. He could charge lots for arcade games and doesn't - I think that says a lot about him. We will definitely continue being loyal customers here!“

“I really like the texture of the mochi nut. It's chewy, yet soft with a subtle sweetness. We got the taro snow and creme brulee. Both were really yummy. I'll definitely be back to try other flavors. They also have Korean hotdogs (all the hype right now) and drinks.Small but cute waiting area with a couch that looks inflatable. Two small tables outside in the front of the store.“
“I wanted to come write a review specifically because of an experience I had this afternoon with one of the employees here. A young woman was working the register when my group arrived. We are from a day program that works with disabled adults, one of the goals we work on is money management so we often come to fast food places to help our individuals purchase lunch or a snack. One of the individuals in my group was being a little bit difficult today and it took a lot of convincing for him to understand that he couldn’t order everything he wanted with the money he had available to him. The cashier was so understanding and patient with him, she went over options and tried to help him get the best option based off what he could afford. I really appreciated how calm and kindly she spoke to both myself and the individual in my group, we don’t run into a lot of people who are as patient as she was. I wish I had gotten her name but I didn’t think about it until after we had already left.“

“The food was how can I say! Awesomeness!!! The extra few minute wait was great because I know my food was coming out hot & fresh! The burger was definitely made with LOVE FROM ABOVE! The service was great. The girl was very kind. You can tell she enjoys her job which I love to see, especially coming to establishment spending my money . Inflation has made establishments prices go up but with a lot of places doing the five dollar bill they do have one but it’s only on Tuesday so people should check it out .The cheese curds was fresh and hot. 10 out of 10 . Will definitely come again A+“
“The quesabirria tacos are absolutely delicious and the consume it comes with is amazing and they’re $3.13 each (currently). I poured the consume on the torta I ordered too because it was that good. The torta I ordered was the Cubano and it was like an 8/10, it’s big and filling and has lots of fillings, I just wish the filling had more prominent flavor and the hotdog was grilled more or just excluded from the sandwich completely. The peach smoothie was not bad, but a medium was $6 and the flavor was kind of non existent. The staff is very nice!“

“Cookie's Drive In is an old fashion hamburger stand. It opened back in 1956 in East Sacramento on 57th and H Street, walking distance from CSU Sacramento's front entrance on J Street. It is awesome that they are still in business after all these years. It is divey, old school.
Their current menu is huge. But the pricing is not. They offer the classic burger in 10 different ways four exotic burgers (ostrich, buffalo, elk, and wild boar), four different kinds of vegetarian burgers, 20 sandwiches (includes pastrami, Philly steak, catfish, salmon) , teriyaki bowls (chicken or beef), shrimp basket, chicken strips, fish n chips, and dessert offerings (frosties, swirlies (aka soft serve), shakes (with malt), freezes, and banana split).
I luved the French fries. They reminded me of McDs. Same size. Crisp, golden fried fries. Fried to the perfect fineness. Touch of salt. Mmm. A small size cost $3.80. The baby burger ran about $5. Solid basic burger. It has chopped lettuce and pickles. The taco $3.80. I enjoyed it and hubs did not. The shell is a fried flour tortilla, he thought the shell and meat was too greasy. I disagreed. The meat was saucy and not greasy. I found the meat to be flavorful, and no not in a fatty greasy flavor kind of way. It had flavor from the seasoning. Sloppy goodness. Same taco, two different perspectives.
This place is take out. Patrons can call in orders ahead of time. Time saver.Expect long waits during peak rush hours They have a few tables outside right along the parking lot, and to the ordering line and folks waiting. It gets awkwardly cozy crowded. Plus another important note is there are no restrooms.“
