I’ve known the family behind Los Nopales since I was a kid, so seeing them run their own restaurant means a lot to me. The food here is genuinely delicious and made with so much care and love.

I usually order the tacos or a quesadilla, but the pambazos are my absolute favorite, so flavorful and authentic. The menudo is really good too, especially when you’re craving something comforting. They’ve also recently started making bacon-wrapped hot dogs, which are really good!

This is a small, family-owned Mexican restaurant that truly deserves more love and support. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food and want to support a local Sacramento business, I highly recommend stopping by.

Was worried because the appearance of building seemed a bit ran down, and we are not from Sac. Food was amazing!!! Staff was great. She was super nice and made sure to tell us we could have chips & salsa from the bar to go with our order thru Uber. Burritos were huge, def a lunch & dinner!

Los Nopales Carniceria , 3106 Fulton Ave. in Sacramento, had one violation on Wednesday, April 16.

Sacramento County inspectors closed the Mexican restaurant due to a cockroach infestation, three weeks after shutting the facility for a similar issues.

Health officials found 10 to 11 live German cockroaches around the restaurant, including under a cabinet with employee items and in the door hinges of a cooler.

There were reportedly no glue traps in the facility, and the owner told inspectors they are working with pest control professionals to mitigate the issue.

The restaurant was previously closed in March for roaches and other safety violations

I have been a regular at this place through door dash for a few months I've placed 8 orders. the food is great..... I had my first issue I was missing half my order. I attempted to call the store the number isn't updated on google, I finally find it deep in door dash. I didn't really care, just wanted to let them know there was a mess up to tighten things up maybe as someone at the restaurant tied the bag with a receipt on the bag that clearly had 6 items on it with only 4 items in the bag. a female with an attitude answered the phone. I made several attempts to explain I just wanted them to be aware. she hung up on me! I called back and asked to speak with the owners Flore or Aturo she again hung up. I tried one last time, Aturo came to the phone and also hung up. guess you don't know until you know. Removed from the list!
