They were open after hours! - just an hour after closing I was so grateful I had a 1 hour ride so definitely made my ride even better.

Grabbed a sandwich and some soup for lunch, the clam chowder was great and the soft bread on the side was wonderful, the Italian sandwich was very good as well, I would recommend them.

THIS PLACE SUCKS!! Always getting the order wrong! And since you ordered it via delivery services, they tell you to come in and they will get it corrected (whats the point of coming down if you chose to have it delivered!) OR... you can pay for additional delivery. If you're willing to risk it... go ahead. I keep thinking what are the odds that they will screw the order up again and they keep beating those odds. I give up!

The sandwich had the perfect texture, nice and chewy. After a while, I did work up my jaw. But the sandwich was a little less in flavor, idk how to explain it, not much in flavor but in an inoffensive way. Thats what the dip is for but I dipped it multiple times but it never really made it better? It was just an activity to do to dip and eat it before it drips. The soup, but the soup was super salty, really salty which makes me think its a dip also the name but it was so liquidy it couldnt work well as a dip. But so salty it couldnt work as a soup. To speed up the soup consumption, I stopped dipping and after a bite of sandwich, I'd drink some soup from the bowl. Again more of an activity than anything. Take my word for it, As someone who loves salty stuff, this soup was SALTY. Like soy sauce salty Extra note: There were 2 ladies, one making the sandwiches and the other on the cash register. The atmosphere really felt like those atmosphere you'd see in new york movies. The workers vibed well with each other in a new york kinda style. There were also some people they seemed to be familiar with, one left, the other grabbed something and left. Idk where im going with this. The side where they were making the sandwiches, you could see the bread that they would slice to make into the sandwich and you could see the oven they use and everything, pretty transparent. I asked the lady what sandwich she recommended and she responded with "I hate when people ask me that" but asked me what I was looking for, soemthing to fill or something to taste? I said fill. She said french dip or brisket both were on the specialty menu (sorry for no pics of specialty menu). I chose french dip, asked what inch, I said 6". Since the receipt system felt weird, I was worried they forgot about my order and my train was about to come but nope, all was good. The sandwich came with a soup? Dip? Sandwich and dip in a bag. Problem, its a malleable bag, the sandwich pushed the soup to the side and slowly spilling since it had breathing holes at the top. But I managed. But overall, good sandwich, I save my 5 stars for places I'd want to go back to so 4 star is most this is gonna get

I ordered a 4-inch grilled cheese sandwich. As you can see from the photo, the cheese is not grilled. It's not even warm. Also, this somehow cost me $11? For a tiny sandwich with no drink or chips or anything on the side? Charging $11 for bread, cheese, and a slice of tomato seems unconscionable to me. The bread was yummy, but this was so not worth it.

I wish I could give it no stars but I will say one bad apple definitely spoils the bunch. They need to get rid of one employee who appears to be the manager. Joanne is very rude and racist. I see how she greets different people and it’s crazy how she is still employed here I travel 5 times a week with Amtrak and will never return to this store as long as she is employed. She is disrespectful to the bus drivers as well.

Sourdough & Co Valley Station is awesome! The place is cozy, the staff is super nice, and their sourdough bread is just so good. The menu has lots of tasty choices, and everything is made with high-quality ingredients. Definitely a must-try spot for sourdough lovers!

Extremely nice and clean. Great selection of food choices. We ordered before we got on train and it was quick service. Cobb salad, brisket sandwich, and ham/cheese sandwich. We were very happy with our choices and the taste was delicious. I'm looking forward to trying other options. They looked so good.

It is a great spot to grab food before traveling with Amtrak. I ordered a cracked pepper Turkey sandwich and a creamy tomato soup combo with small BBQ chips for the train. It only took a 5 min wait, after ordering, since the place is busy during lunch time. The soup is hot and tasted very savory. The sandwich had all the fixings (lettice, tomatoes, etc), and the house sauce compliments the turkey, so it didn't need mustard. Moving forward, I will definitely be grabbing a quick bite before my travels. Also, there is a door right into the station. So you don't miss announcements.Great bonus

Worst experience ever... never even got to order! After standing in line for 20 minutes still no person came to the counter. 4 people left. Absolutely no customer service, no professionalism and zero business. Get a staff that enjoys your business or you'll end up an empty store front. Pretty sure those employees couldn't care less about profit and losses. The owners must be filthy rich to not know the potential of this location.

Missed my train. Needed a Sando to recharge and figure out to pivot travel plans remotely. Let me enjoy a breakfast burrito without egg for cheaper (and past the cutoff of 10:30!!!) AND provided a) efficient service b) exquisite customer service across the team and c) cool haircuts. A+ sourdough and co!! @management seeing this: the two ladies/theydies here at 11am on 12/31 deserve a bonus!!!

Railroad yard atmosphere very nice. Ambience of travel, in-progress. A trip seemingly experienced while seated and having dinner.
