This was our 3red visit. The food was as delicious as the first two visits. My husband didn't care for the meatloaf, but it just wasn't what he expected. He said it wouldn't keep him from returning, though! The service was exceptional. It was a Sunday afternoon, at full capacity, and the noise level was very high. We prefer eating out on the patio when the weather is nice.
Ordered Biscuit & Eggs, Shrimp & Grits, Tuscaloosa Style Fried Green Tomatoes, one (1) pancake, and drinks. Quality biscuits that remind you of the south are hard to come by in California, but The Porch has them. Next time I’m in Sacramento I’ll stop by to try the Brisket & Biscuit dish with a side of their grits. Great restaurant!Parking: If you going Sundays, street parking is free. Otherwise it’ll cost you to park. This restaurant does not have a parking lot.

This was my second visit to The Porch restaurant. The food was great and the service was outstanding. My server took my order and paid attention to all of the substitutions and requests that went with my order (Ham Benedict, stacked on extra fried green tomatoes, no english muffin with a medium-hard egg and a bowl of fruit).
