Enjoyed my tasting with Matthew! It's a place that is tucked away within downtown Sonoma and isn't really flashy, just a really cute room where you can taste wines. When we came, Matthew stayed with us the whole experience and entertained our group of 4 the whole hour. We got 3 wines, each a bit different but special in their own ways - and enjoyed being able to learn more about the history from Matthew - he was a really funny dude.I've been to a few wine tastings in Sonoma and I'd say this is one of the more low-key ones that I've been to which isn't bad, but it's not as active as the ones where you get to go to a winery and look around. I'd still come for the good service!

We drove past Brasswood while visiting the St Helena area, and saw that Westwood was one of the new wineries featured on their property. I gave them a quick ring to see had they any bookings free for two people - thankfully they did and we quickly turned around and made our way there. On arrival we were met by Andrew - who is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He had our table all set up and told us about the winery, the bakery, the kitchen and most importantly the wine. All staff were wearing masks and plenty of signs are posted about wearing your mask and practicing social distancing. Andrew was so knowledgable and didn't mind us asking so many questions. You can tell he really enjoys his job. When we were leaving Andrew gave us a mini tour of the estate and a handwritten note of some recommendations for wineries and restaurants in the area as we mentioned we had just moved to the area. This place is an absolute gem!

A truly high class, unforgettable tasting experience. First off, all the wines were superb, especially the Legend Cabernet Sauvignon. The Pinots (of which there were several) were also spot on, with just the right amount of breadth and complexity that makes a memorable pinot. The setting was very private and beautiful. This is not a belly up to the counter and get poured a few small glasses of cheap wine next to 20 other couples tasting. We had a private room, sat on a lovely, comfortable couch with a fireplace and a printed menu with our names on it. The cheese pairing with the wine was also about as good as it gets. Our host was a well educated sommelier who walked us patiently through each of the wines and we never felt rushed. If you want to do wine tasting the right way, I would highly recommend a tasting of Westwood wine at Brasswood Village.

We just finished the Elevation tasting experience with lunch at Brasswood in Napa and it was amazing. Our host, Ilona, was amazing and explained the wines perfectly and we had a great conversation about everything. The food pairing was delicious and went perfectly together. The fresh made mozzarella with the Chardonnay is one of my favorite pairings of all time. All of the wines were great but the Gaps Crown stood out as well. We would definitely recommend doing this experience and will be back!

The wine was incredible but the hospitality from Mathew was what really stood out about the experience. His knowledge, humor, and service was truly the best experience we had in all of Sonoma. Thank you!

The wine was fantastic! Andrew was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great place to go for an intimate, top shelf tasting.

Cute little wine spot. Best to make reservations before coming (call them!) as the place is small and it might be full by the time you get there. Definitely recommend bringing snacks to pair with the wines, which is definitely allowed. Outdoor seating is limited, but great since the weather was perfect and the area is pretty shaded. Tastings were decently priced ($25 for the cheapest option of 5 tastings set).

As far as wine tastings it was okay. My girlfriend and I decided that we were not crazy about the selection. Wines were okay. Not much information was provided. No way to cleanse our palate between wines. Really seemed like a somewhat rushed experience

Summary: A different tasting experience. Intimate and informative. Pricey, but worth the experience. Generous pours of at least 5 (we got 7 or 8 different wines). Knowledgeable and friendly staff that like sharing about their wines and anything else you want to talk about.I went here with my wife and her parents after reading such positive reviews from the Yelp community. The tasting room is located through a narrow near the back of a shopping center across the street from city hall in Sonoma. When we walked in we were told to sit wherever we wanted. There were a couple of tables inside as well as a loveseat, and a couple of tables outside in the mini-courtyard as well. We sat outside and were very well attended. As soon as one person's glass was empty, our server (I apologize for forgetting his name, but a young guy) came by to fill it up. He brought us wines that were not on the tasting list, including a Tannat, which we had never even heard of. It was a great experience that we all enjoyed, thoroughly.
