It fits well for a romantic dinner occasion or upscale dinner with friends. The waitress was very attentive, upbeat, nice, and helpful in choosing food options. We ordered the prime steak mushroom pasta as well as the bolognese pasta. Both were exceptionally good! They allowed me to sample different wines until I liked one which was very considerate. The chef went above and beyond! I loved our experience here, I hope to be back soon!“

“I always have quick and friendly service at this location and the others I've been to. Friendly like they are happy to work there. The menu choice has enough variety and uniqueness that it's fun for me to eat there. And between my partner and me, our meals have always been what we were looking for. My partner likes their grits and that gets us there. But the experience keeps me coming back.“

“It's over priced. It's difficult to enjoy a meal when it's overpriced. I've had better service than today's experience. $17 for a basic bacon, turkey and ham club with minimal portions is disappointing. $5.99 for a side salad, $3.99 for an Iced tea $29 for lunch, isn't worth going back for. Then additional tip expense. Multiply that by 2, over $60 for coffee shop food, no justification in my opinion.“

“This Sizzler is possibly the best one I've experienced. The salad bar is always fresh and maintained clean. The soups are as well. I really enjoyed the cheddar broccoli soap and the clam chowder was Awsome. The workers were very polite and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.“

If you get a chance try the phyllo orange cake, it was delicious, and I'm not a dessert person. For a higher end option in the Manteca area, Ernie's is at the top of that list.“

We ordered the potato skins that were good but a little dry. I ordered the chicken ranch sandwich that was good but my husband was not in love with the French dip aka chunky dunk. This place is truly one of Modesto’s best-kept secrets (unfortunately) — and it deserves to be packed every night. We came here for my mom’s birthday dinner with a large group of 18–20 people, and from start to finish, everything was flawless. We ordered a variety of appetizers — the cheese board, Brussels sprouts, lamb meatballs, and almond-crusted chicken skewers — and every single dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. Even with a group our size, all the food came out at the same time, hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The kids were served first (huge win for the parents!), and the service throughout the night was nothing short of exceptional. In a time when good service is rare, Burly’s truly goes above and beyond. Every single person at the table was impressed — most had never been there before, and every one of them said they’d be back. And while that birthday dinner was amazing, it wasn’t a one-off. Before moving out of the area, I’d eat lunch at Burly’s about once a week. The food was consistently top notch, never hit-or-miss like so many other places. “I was there on Mothers day and the brunch was wonderful as was the staff. I was there when Austin spray was there and the group and themselves were the only problem. No one else in the restaurant has had the same problem. Guest received exactly what was advertised and it was delicious! It is fathers day today and I am going back for the brunch! I'm looking forward to the delicious food and seeing the friendly staff. Keep up the great service all! I recommend Georges steakhouse to all and Austin... stay home.“
