There’s a quiet dude always in the corner making sure everyone is safe and that bar patrons are secure and bartenders are so friendly with GREAT customer service! “We love Ernie's for a special night out. I had the Surf and Turf which was a delicious, perfectly cooked filet and shrimp. My wife had the salmon with a spicy crust, also delicious. We split a wedge salad which was the best wedge I've had. The Hazelnut Crunch gelato is a must try. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. Usually eating out on New Year's Eve is a hit or miss, we hit a home run this year.“

“Ate lunch here for my birthday on 1/16. We ordered the preztal, the piggy piggy pizza and a tri tip sandwich. Everything was delicious! Will definitely go back! The service and atmosphere was great too!“

“At this point I'm pretty much a regular. Excellent service, friendly atmosphere and welcoming clientele keep me coming back. The bar itself has a mostly wooden interior & feels like a proper dive bar. It's got alcohol, a jukebox, pool table & free wifi... What else do u need? 5/5 will visit again“

“Tried once about 2 years ago and has been our go to ever since. Husband and I make the drive out to this little spot for drinks and a good meal on date nights. Their Sushi & Micheladas are bomb and just about anything on the menu is delicious.“

“Ate there on a Saturday night.
Our table (reservation) wasn't ready and took 20 minutes of waiting until it was.
It was very loud, more like a club than a restaurant: laser lights, smoke, and music. I did not expect that over dinner, particularly the volume. Service was very slow with frequent mistakes on our orders.
The one saving grace - I didn't expect the food to be so good! Best mexican food I've had in Modesto in 1.5 years of living here, eating out 4-6 times per month.
I'd try this place again for lunch, but not dinner.“

“This place seemed like it would have a good crowd on the weekends. I hope to get the chance to try it again soon. There is a pool table and sports on the televisions. It seemed like a fun spot to relax after work or to get away from the usual options for a fresh local crowd. The neighborhood was a bit off.“
