Applebee's Grill + Bar offers a mixed dining experience. Some customers have enjoyed their meals, with dishes such as the salmon with mashed potatoes and chicken quesadilla salad receiving high praise for their flavor and quality. The server is often described as friendly and professional, and the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere. However, others have had a less satisfactory experience, criticizing the food quality and portion sizes, particularly with the promo special. The server may need to be specific in taking orders, and the restaurant may be short-staffed, leading to longer wait times. Despite these issues, the restaurant's mixed drinks and sides, such as fries and coleslaw, are often well-received. Overall, Applebee's Grill + Bar is a decent option for a casual meal, but it may not exceed expectations.
The restaurant's atmosphere has been described as lacking, and the service can be inconsistent, with some customers experiencing long wait times for both food and drinks. The quality of the to-go orders has also been a concern, with reports of cold meals. Despite these challenges, Applebee's Grill + Bar remains a popular choice for those seeking a casual dining experience, with its varied menu and selection of alcoholic beverages.
