Their katsu is always authentic with crispy skin. Rice is also well made. Additionally, we ordered their macaroni salad which we liked. Prices are average and service was good.
Great food and service. The only thing that I think is a negative for me, is not having the ability to get my own sauce for my food.
Massive portions at a very reasonable price (even for California!). They give you more meat/proteins than they do rice, despite the affordable prices. Overall the flavor is good, and the meat is tender, but some things on the menu (such as the chicken katsu) fall behind compared to others. Either way I would absolutely recommend this place, especially if you’re just trying to get some affordable protein.
