I am really surprised that this place has this much good review . I ordered the family dinner plate that comes with won ton soup, fried rice , sweet and sour pork, broccoli beef, Steam rice and fried wonton. The food was horrible there is not Chinese about this place and food is not Chinese . The fried rice was plain and soggy. The sweet and sour was also plain . I always get great service but this time I don't know who the cook was but they burnt my egg foo young on outside wasn't cooked right inside and burnt my chicken chow mei the orange chicken had no spice and was pasty.

Driving back from LA to the Bay Area, we stopped at this little Chinese restaurant in Salinas. So hungry and tired. They served us warm green tea- so good for the dark winter night. We ordered a bunch of dishes, and the waiter was so kind to let us know the quantities are more. Yea that's right, big plates is it! Yummy comforting food. We all loved it, including the kids. We asked for water and no ice, got each a lemon wedge in our water glasses. The kids enjoyed their water too!...read full review
