We stopped here for a snack on our way up the coast from Santa Cruz back to SF and are glad we did. We both got one shrimp and one fish taco each, both grilled. Neither was overcooked and tasted very fresh. The flavoring on the fish was a little mild but it worked well with the other ingredients. Neither of us was a fan of the hot sauces provided and thought the table salsa was tastier to use for the tacos too. Wow I gotta tell y'all when I say this is the real deal, this is the real deal. Takes you back to simpler times. Took me back to my childhood. Even the salsa from the chips and salsa is spicy af. Food is incredible, in the authentic Mexican food way. Les digo que a deveras es un lugar de comen excelente, si A mi apenas me gustan los mariscos pero aquí, como que si dan ganas.

Pleasantly surprised by this place in the small roadside town of Davenport. I got the steak salad, which was very generously portioned, and came with freshly seared carne asada right off the grill alongside sour cream and several salsas. My friend got the smothered burrito which he really enjoyed. It doesn't look like much, but the food's great!
