Came to Salinas and asked about a good taco shop nearby. Multiple people told me "Tacos Don Beto". I'm glad I listened. The waitress was very friendly and made a great recommendation of the chile verde super burrito. The atmosphere was nice and clean. Clean enough to feel comfortable eating here. The burrito, man alive, was delicious. The meat was tender and juicy and well seasoned. Top it off, the tortillas here, both corn and flour, are homemade. I'll be back.

I loved the creative vegan options. I tried all four on the lettuce taco. The jackfruit was well shredded and spiced. The cactus and shrooms tender and delicious. Each option was very good. Pricing is reasonable for the generous portion size. Nice counter service. Busy but lots of room.

My second time buying tacos there, the first time I loved them. I was traveling from San Francisco, last Tuesday I ordered tacos al pastor and the very salty meat I had to throw away five tacos. We only had a cake and a shrimp taco for dinner. Unacceptable!
Flavors were right but I would get any other meat but the carne asada. It tasted low quality and it had lots of chewy gristle.

Success rate ordering via Door Ash is about 75%. Three out of four times you will get what you order, but there is inconsistency in the quality. When it’s good it’s great, but tonight it was inedible; we didn’t even get what we ordered and the guacamole was brown (old). Quality control is an issue for us. It’s a bummer to get your delivery and it goes in the garbage and you report the issue and get a $7 credit on a $27 meal. Three out of four times I would give 4 or 5 stars, but 1 out of 4 is a total loss. I think we are finished ordering from Don Bedo.
