M. H. Bread and Butter is a cozy cafe in San Anselmo that offers a delightful selection of baked goods and beverages. Customers praise the incredible baked goods and the perfect spot for a cozy black coffee in the morning. The food is incredible, and the place is a great sandwich spot. Everything looked so good, tasting so fresh. The bread and bacon were nice and crispy. They have one of the very best ham and cheese croissants in Marin county and also an excellent mocha that is not too sweet. The California Benedict is amazing, tasting great with gorgeous presentation for $16.50. Some have had a less than satisfactory experience, with complaints about the cold temperature, poor service, and small portions, particularly with the beef stew. Despite these mixed reviews, the baked egg dish is highly recommended for its exceptional flavors and balanced combination of sweet and savory elements.
