Went their once and my wife got a pozole or caldo de res can't remember which but it smelled like it was expired haven't been back since

Based on the reviews, La Taquizas Restaurant serves good Mexican food with a good variety on the menu. The best tacos in the Del Rosa area are found here. They have amazing tortas, burritos, tacos, aguas, and even pastries. The salsa bar is always fresh, and the salsas are delicious, including the green salsa and guacamole salsa. The carne asada burrito and carnitas burrito are highly recommended. The burrito de carne asada comes with rice, beans, cilantro, and onion and is very filling. The meats are always soft, and the food is tasty. The fresas con crema/strawberries and cream are amazing. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly, though some reviews note the customer service could be more friendly and the lady behind the register was not friendly. It is a casual eating type of place. The parking space is very little and tight, and the bathroom could use better cleaning. The food is really good, and the place reminds people of home in Mexico. It is recommended for anyone visiting from out of town.
