“This places has such good food and feels like a well-kept secret (I kind of wish it didn’t because I want this place to do well and stay open!). The surf & turf burrito, Diablo shrimp tacos, and chicken fajita burrito are ALL AMAZING! My husband often gets grilled or fried fish tacos or burritos and seriously loves them. The refried beans are probably my favorite locally, and I looooove their guacamole (very picky about restaurant guacamole because sometimes it’s overloaded with lime to prevent browning — this is fresh and just-enough-lime!). The service is also great, and they have an A+ selection of drinks for an order-at-the-counter place! Just adjacent to what was Norton Air Base. Got off menu burittos of asada/chirizo. “This is a hidden gem!! Decided to try this place on Thursday night and it has definitely become a favorite spot. The location is in deep San Bernardino so there is not a lot going on around the area. They have nice seating area inside as well as a drive-thru! The staff and the guy always working is super kind and gives off such a positive energy. Great service each time. It's been really cold and I wanted some pozole on a random Thursday, luckily they serve it! It was soooo delicious and I had ordered it to-go, they packaged it very carefully with all the condiments for it- it was also still very hot when I got home. I also tried their asada and pastor tacos and they were soooo good - very flavorful and I love the handmade tortillas. I also had the horchata and it was definitely made with love. Each time I've gone it hasn't been super busy, but this is a spot that should be busy!! I've brought family and friends and they all agree it is a delicious hidden gem. Definitely recommend if you're in the area 10/10.“
“I found this restaurant on Google, and was not disappointed! My chile verde omelet was slathered with chile verde that had a nice kick to it, though not overwhelming. Other reviews are correct the their salsas are outstanding, very fresh and obviously homemade! Love how they serve the creamy refried beans in a small bowl made of a tortilla. Fun decor with a kitschy Route 66 theme, and great service too!“
“I come here at least once a week. We always order the 1lb of mixed meats. It comes with beans and freshly made corn tortillas and salsa. They give you beans and some mini tostadas as an appetizer. I really love this place. The food quality and taste is consistent. Highly recommend ?“

“Drove past on a Friday night and saw a line of people extending down the block so I had to check it out. Got 3 regular tacos: al pastor, cabeza, chorizo. And one asada queso taco. Al pastor taco: Al pastor is my go to taco meat, and their al pastor on the trompo spit was huge and looked incredible. However, I was a bit let down. It was good, but not incredible. Score: 4 out of 5 Cabeza taco: Cabeza I usually don't get but holy carp was I glad I did. The cabeza was sooooooo soft and tender and tasted amazing. Their cabeza was the best I've had and I will definitely be trying it at more places in the future, thanks to this place. Score: easy 5 out of 5 Chorizo taco: Chorizo I find is often hit or miss. Some places have chorizo that is way too salty. Their chorizo was a bit weird because it tasted a bit sour to me. Not sure if that's normal or a specific type of chorizo? I didn't get sick afterwards so.... I didn't like it though. Score: 2 out of 5 Asada queso taco: I was unsure about the cheese hence why I only ordered one. However, the melted cheese really added a nice flavor to the asada taco and made me wish I had ordered queso on the other tacos as well. Definitely recommended. Score: 4 out of 5 If you find yourself in Eagle Rock, definitely check this place out. The line can get pretty long but it moves pretty quick.“

I had a fish taco and California taco, husband enjoyed the machaca burrito, all fairly priced for the quality and flavors. Beautiful patio seating. I love the chips and salsa station. Yummy. “The other day my grandmother-in-law asked me what my favorite restaurant was... Without hesitation I replied "EL TORITIO!!!!" That reminded me that I need to dine here more often. I've been visiting E Torito since 1996 and I have never once been disappointed in the food or service. The only thing I found disappointing in my recent visit was the lack of patrons. It's hard these days for a restaurant to remain successful. I encourage you all to to pay them a visit soon. We need to help keep them in business. I would be devastated if they ever had to shut their doors like so many businesses in California have done since 2020.“

“We came to San Bernardino for a soccer tournament and we came to eat here, we called in advance to see if they would accommodate 20 people and they said yes. When we got there they were setting up tables outside so we can eat all together! Despite being 20 of us they got our drinks and food out in a timely manner. “One of the best places to get food in all of San Bernardino county. I have searched high and low for a taqueria that gives me authentic Mexican food without burning from the rooter to the tutor. Upon entering the establishment Maria greeted me with a smile and insured me that the food would be excellent. The food was so great that I continue to eat even though I was full. The food was so great that I did not want to take a drink of my soda for a fear of ruining the taste of the food. I spoke to the owner Miss Anna and she was also very delighted to know that she has some of the best food around as well. The staff are all humble and very nice. “I work around the corner and have basically eaten lunch here once a week for months! Uriel and Ramon are not only two of the nicest guys but their food is delicious. Everything I have ordered from their "early bird special" breakfast burrito to their chicken chimichanga wet (my favorite) I can recommend. So good, I can bring it home for dinner from time to time and the whole family is happy. The place is nice and has plenty of seating. Very cool art on the wall. The service is usually quick and you can see the kitchen. The menu is extensive for a quick spot. The pricing is fair and cheaper then most comparable restaurants. But besides all that, the quality of food is top notch, and better then most sit down full service restaurants. Try this place out!“

Our go to is the Maleficio with the black sauce,. I usually share it with my coworker and we get about 3 tostadas each. The Asada Tacos are different but they're very good! Their Al Pastor is delicious too!! Either meat over nachos, in a burrito or in a taco is so good hit the spot Every time! It's small inside so not recommended if you are a large group. “My boyfriend and I came here to try it out for the first time. I got the 2 chicken enchiladas and he got the carne asada plate. Last was really nice and I tried my best to speak what little Spanish I knew but she understood and we still got my order taken :) the food came out in good time and it looked really good!
