Golden Spoon

I'll start with this. I love Golden Spoon. Been eating Golden Spoon since I was a child. I no longer have a location near my home so it's been years since I've had it. Was at a track meet at San Clemente HA yesterday and stopped in cu so had to take my kids to try it. Still amazing! Even better, the young man working the counter yesterday afternoon was amazing. The OG of froyo. Before the land of yogurt and berries got pink, there was Golden Spoon. I thought all of these locations were extinct since the upraising of the froyo craze many years ago. Golden Spoon offers more of your "traditional" flavors such as chocolate, vanilla, marshmallows, peanut butter, etc. Toppings are usually crushed up candy/chocolate bars. We visited Golden Spoon today after our hike. I can honestly say it was a highlight of our trip - the service was so so so good. It was Easter and a young gentleman named Josh was working - the kindest and most helpful person. He was simply wonderful. He talked about the owner, Bob, / singing his praise and how much Bob cares about the store and the employees.
