Achilles Coffee Roasters Gaslamp offers tasty coffee with great roasts and well-roasted beans. The acai bowls and honey cinnamon latte come highly recommended. There is limited indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating on the patio. The baristas provide great service and a wide selection of pourover brews. A nice, quiet location, especially on Sunday mornings.
The coffee shop has a super fun atmosphere, and the choices are amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful, answering all customers' questions. The sugar-free vanilla latte is a popular choice and is super yummy. The coffee shop is quite busy, especially with conferences at the nearby San Diego Convention Center, so it's best to come early to avoid a long wait. The breakfast burrito is really good, with the soyrizo adding a lot of flavor. The Aztec, a cold brew coffee with Mexican chocolate flavors, is also a solid choice. The Coronado sandwich is decent, with the crunchy bacon bites contrasting well with the soft bread and avocado, though the chipotle aioli could use a bit more. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available, and the food and drinks come out at a good pace.
