Tonight we went to Amuri thanks to a recommendation we had received from an Italian friend.
Dinner was very nice, friendly atmosphere, staff super welcoming.
We had a Margherita Pinsa and Asiago Cheese gnocchi: super delicious and yummy 😋
Nino, the host, is amazing and really takes care of his customers!

We’ve eaten at Amuri a handful of times and have thoroughly enjoyed the food, people, and atmosphere so much that it’s now our favorite Italian restaurant in San Diego. It’s a fairly new restaurant located in an unsuspecting location despite being right off the 15 freeway. Each time was as consistently great as the time before, and we especially enjoy the arancine, carciofi alla romana, cacio e pepe, and of course the tiramisu. Amuri Italian Cuisine is a favorite Italian restaurant in San Diego, located in an unsuspecting spot right off the 15 freeway. The food is true Italian cuisine with ingredients imported from Sicily, and the staff, also from Sicily, are quite friendly. Diners enjoy a friendly atmosphere and super welcoming service, with standout dishes like the Margherita Pinsa, Asiago Cheese gnocchi, arancine, carciofi alla romana, cacio e pepe, and tiramisu. The salmon with risotto was perfectly cooked, and the beef Ragu and cheese wheel special are excellent. The restaurant features a cheese-wheel where pasta is mixed, and tiramisu is made from scratch in front of guests. The interior is darling with Italy inspired murals and tile, plus a little window to watch the pasta being tossed. Service is professional yet casual, with a young authentic Italian vibe. The food is delicious, consistently great each visit, and complemented by reasonable prices. The tiramisu is simply the best. This amazing restaurant is highly recommended, and guests are already planning their next visit.
