Asmara Cafe/Restaurant is a hidden gem in the City Heights area, offering the best Eritrean and Ethiopian cuisine. The owner, who also serves as the chef, prepares delicious dishes, including the highly recommended sambusas - a blend of lentil and beef fillings, bursting with flavor. Vegan options are available, and the service is friendly and attentive. The cafe features a cozy ambiance, a nice dining area, and free Wi-Fi, making it a comfortable spot for a satisfying meal. Customers praise the delicious, healthy, and homemade Eritrean food, with the Veggie Combo plate with injera bread being a popular choice. The food is often described as fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. The friendly staff, especially a cheerful woman, keeps guests well taken care of, and the cappuccino is also highly recommended. This family-owned café is a must-visit for those seeking an authentic and enjoyable dining experience.
