Delicious food. The owner was so pleasant. When I told her it was my first time eating Eritrean food she made me an amazing plate with both chicken and beef (menu was either or). Will definitely return whenever I am in San Diego.
My friend and I went to Asmera cafe for breakfast this morning, and we both ordered Ge'ate (Genfo) . They were clearly homemade—honestly the best Ge'ate (Genfo) I’ve ever had. We both also had cappuccino as well. The cappuccino was just as impressive. I can’t recommend this place enough!
A co worker introduced me to this place and wow! What a great little restaurant! The lady in the front is so sweet and then once she takes your order hops in the back and start making your food fresh to order. Food came out steaming hot and packed with flavor. Never had Ethiopian food and I’ve been missing out. Huge portions at an amazing price.
