Another wonderful evening at Barrel & Board! She enjoyed the cheese board. I enjoyed my fav pasta. Warm bread. Great atmosphere. Excellent cocktail and wine selections. Had to try the 23 year aged rum tonight; invited the bartender to create a drink with it - old fashion styled "The Autumn". Dinner was great. Fellow guests were fine. A little rain outside. Not too loud for my weak hearing - we had a super evening. On our next visit - I want to try the marinated...
Food is good. Although, I feel the portions on the bites are very small. If you order a beet salad you would expect to get beets on the salad which I only got 2 little ones. They could improve on the portions. Everything else was ok.
After dinner, we stopped by to grab a drink. The place was beautiful, with stylish furniture and stunning chandeliers. Pleasant 90s music was playing, and the lighting was just right. We sat at the bar and enjoyed chatting with the friendly bartender. It was a great experience, and we decided to return to dine-in next time.
