The place is one of the best deli’s in San Diego and the sandwiches are huge! They are also friendly and have a clean store. Love San Carlos. But they are under new management and they have downsized their sandwiches and upped their prices so much that it is ridiculous. Not my favorite anymore.😩
Excellent generous deli sandwiches. Mine was $15. You definitely get what you pay for. The portions are huge. Like twice you get at Vons deli. Next time I may split it or take half home.
Came here after hiking at cowles mountain. So I was super hungry. Me and my buddy got 2 sandwiches each ! I got the New Yorker and it was so delicious. 3 meats ! Roast beef, pastrami, & corned beef ! My buddy got the chipotle Baja which he loved ! Then I ordered TBAC ( turkey, bacon, avocado, & cheese ). I only ate half bc I was full, so amazing ! I saved the other half for later. The other half tasted so amazing at home !! My buddy’s second sandwich was the turkey...
