Both the convince store and deli workers are nice and provide good service (unlike the one accross the street). Prices are about on par with next door and accross the street. The sandwiches are also great and the portions are massive. One my my regular spots
You will find that this little deli is great for multiple purposes. They sell snacks, lottery, liquor and sodas. But what is best are their deli sandwiches! They have a large variety built on fresh bread with fresh meat and vegetables. They are accompanied by a tasty cup of macaroni or potato salad. You can get a fountain drink or purchase phenomenal cookies for dessert too! They have a small area for seating inside and outside also.
The place is one of the best deli’s in San Diego and the sandwiches are huge! They are also friendly and have a clean store. Love San Carlos. But they are under new management and they have downsized their sandwiches and upped their prices so much that it is ridiculous. Not my favorite anymore.😩
