Great food and ambience. Been coming here since 2017. Prices have gone way up and the service way worse. Recommend coming at dinner time and asking to sit inside or main outdoor patio. Avoid high tables on the edges of the restaurant, service will be rougher.

We had the BEST dining experience at Catania. Our server was wonderful - amazing service, great guidance on the menu, very friendly. The food was delicious. Some dishes were creatives and others were classics that were perfectly done. Highly recommend to anyone.

I made this reservation a few weeks ago to have a special meal with my sister while she was visiting. We arrived at 6:50 for a 7 pm reservation and were told by the hosts, rather rudely, we had to wait for our table as the previous guests were still at the table that would be ours. We waited a bit and then they sat us, not at a table, but at a high top counter facing the street with horrible bar stools. There were tons of 2 tops open and we were not offered any of these. It took 15 minutes for us to get water and an additional 5-10 min to be greeted by our waitress. We ordered our drinks and the waitress started to walk away before I could request to put in an app. We heard other tables around us having their servers give a description of the menu and the restaurant and we never received any of this information. The food was delicious, but that was the only good part of the experience. We weren't checked on during the meal and I had to ask to have the plates cleared when we were done after requesting the bill. For the money that was spent for 2 drinks, an app, and 2 meals it really didn't feel worth it unfortunately.

We had an early reservation as we had a show to get to. Our server was prompt without rushing us and we loved all our entrees as well as the wine. We will definitely return.

This is a wonderful experience! It was one of our parties birthday and they printed menus with this noted on it and it was really special. The food was delicious and the service was immaculate. Would recommend!!

Everything we had was excellent, and the entire experience was well worth it. The ambiance is cool and inviting, with tables spaced far enough apart to give a sense of coziness yet privacy. The waitstaff was totally adorable, friendly, without being obsequious, and seemingly always available if we needed anything. The only negative for me, ( because I'm pescatarian but can't eat shellfish) was that the fish dishes all contained a shellfish element- the cod had cioppino and the branzino clams) BUT I inquired of our waiter if either could be served without the added shellfish and learned that it would be possible to have the branzino sans clams! So, the fact the they are flexible and attentive to a diner's dietary needs makes this place special in my book. Add to that the dessert we had was truly one of the best and purely simple desserts I have ever had- the chocolate flourless cake with crème fraiche- amazing, and worth a visit just for that!
