Communal Coffee is a standout coffee shop known for its high-quality drinks and friendly atmosphere. Their espresso is considered among the best, impressing even coffee snobs with its rich flavor. The menu includes unique beverages like salted caramel and banana caramel lattes, which are enjoyed without excessive sweetness. One popular choice is the coconut cold brew, offering a perfect balance of coconut and coffee flavors. The Gold Coast latte is also notable for its bold and sweet taste. The maple sausage sandwich pairs perfectly with the drinks, making it an excellent choice for breakfast. The shop features plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor space in a private backyard, creating a comfortable spot to relax or work. The drinks emphasize quality ingredients, with options like the iced strawberry creme matcha latte and the ube matcha latte, which is rich, not overly sweet, and beautifully made with deep green matcha and purple ube syrup. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, filled with beautiful flowers and a cute selection of cards and gifts. Overall, Communal Coffee is praised for its consistent, flavorful offerings and welcoming environment, making it a go-to spot in North Park.
