Absolutely loved this place! Everything was incredibly clean, fresh, and delicious. You can tell the chefs really know what they’re doing—they enhance the natural flavors of the fish without bombarding everything with heavy sauces, which we really appreciated.

This is a new restaurant in the colorful area in Hillcrest.
While the surrounding area is somewhat questionable, the restaurant is excellent.
The food/sushi was fresh, and extremely delicious. They offer traditional sushi, but also have some very excellent unique sushi rolls that taste amazing.
The staff was very friendly and professional.
I would definitely come back here again. I especially recommend the Daruma roll or the Sashimi salad.

What should’ve been a five-star review was tanked by the fact that they forced a birthday dessert on us that we didn’t order and then charged us for it. They also never refilled our waters. We ordered salmon crispy rice, tuna tataki, shochu sunset cocktail, premium junmai ginjo cold sake, spicy tuna roll, and the oyabun roll.
