Tacos are amazing. Service is friendly. Beers are cheap!
They double charged my card and won’t pay me back. After dodging my calls for weeks all I’ve been told is there’s nothing they can do about it. As someone who works in hospitality it’s honestly embarrassing that they would do something like this without offering anything to make it right. Considering legal action
Badass chipotle fries are badass with guacamole and salsa 🤤😋 with some mango habanero wings served with ranch Delicious. 🍟🍟🌮🌯🌯🍗🍖🍖🍖🍖
Cool Spot!!
Just found this place absolutely love their food. California burrito slaps!
College bar. Mexican food is average, drinks are poured in wrong cups. Mojito & Paloma in a beer cup, over pouring of soda to fill the cup. Not great drinks.
Awesome happy hour though you kinda have to ask about it. Mon-Fri 2 to 6. Margarita for $6, and set of 3 crispy rolled tacos with toppings for $5. Got another 2 orders to take for later ;-).
El chingon is San Diego and has outlasted several dozens of big clubs throughout the year. The owner is an amazing person and he cares about his customers. If you are ever in Fort Worth there is another El Chingon which is a huge blast!
Best tacos that I have ever had! Recommend the El Típico tacos with the fried cheese added... delicious!
Enjoyed a Mexican Pizza. Surprisingly large meal, especially for the price, took a lot of it home and had four more meals out of it. Very flavorful, especially the meat. The service was friendly and fast. The decor inside was amazing, giving the place such a comfortable feel. So many beautiful things to look at.

Very good Food and service!!! Simple and great.
Great Tacos! Half off tacos on Tuesday and decent happy hour cocktails. But bartender didn't realize the veggie tacos was not part of the happy hour and gave me an attitude when I asked about why she charge me full price. I was not pleased with that. Other than that I would definitely recommend their tacos!
I've been here a couple times. Food gets worse with every visit. This most recent time got the fajitas. The chicken was tough and chewy. It and everything else was kind of bland and tasteless. The chips and salsa was good though. About 10 minutes after we sat down to eat they started playing club music so loud we couldn't even hear each other when shouting.
Checked out El Chingon while in San Diego — place was solid. The food had good flavor, and the drinks were on point, especially the margaritas. It’s got a cool vibe, kind of loud and packed, but fun if you’re in the mood for it.
Only reason it’s not a full 5 stars is the wait — took a little long to get our food. But overall, it was a good time. I’d definitely slide through again next time I’m in town.
We had the happy hour margaritas and tacos. The shrimp taco & fish tacos were great! Service with a smile!
