Filiberto's as a chain is apparently hit or miss, but I've been living less than a mile from this location for 16 years and it's *excellent*.
I've hosted guests from Raleigh, Boston, New Hampshire, Ottawa, etc., etc., etc., and taken them to multiple places around SD...and they ask me if I can mail them Filiberto's.

One of our absolute favorite spots when visiting and leaving San Diego for our trips, staff are always courteous and the cooks know what they are doing. My suggestion is order the carne asada 🌯 burrito. 😋 This is baja food..
Best burrito I’ve ever had, hands down. Super tasty, the staff is really friendly, and the place is spotless. Ten out of ten from me.
