“We live in Philly & love Richard Blais so when visiting my brother in San Diego we always have to check out any new spots by Chef Blais. We were so happy our trip last week included California English! Right away the decor & atmosphere draw you in, being both chic & comfortable. Our server was absolutely fantastic & the food could not have been better. Try the ricotta toast, fish & chips & sticky toffee & date cake, you won’t be disappointed!“

“A lot of social media was hyping this place up, and honestly it was a little underwhelming. Now while the fish tacos were good. I wouldn’t say they are amazing. However for the price ($7-$8) was justified. It was a good sized taco. For me. A solid 4 stars because the service was excellent. Helped you through the choices and made sure you got everything you ordered.“

“Coming here and visiting Marion's Fish Market was such a wonderful experience! We got the platter and fish tacos! There is a communal sitting area for the nearby restaurants. Very tasty food! I'll be coming back here next time I come to San Diego!“

“I was there a week ago visiting from Texas! We were staying on Coronado St. My sister/ family and I went to order take out ,the food was delicious but not only that I assume it’s the owners young son he just amazed me on how he was helping his Father at the register, and getting the orders ready he’s definitely going to make it big one day ! He should be an inspiration to kids out there! Good job little boy!!!! Great work to Dad for teaching him what hard work is all about!!“

“The best fried chicken I have had since moving to Vegas. Everyone there was so inviting . If you haven’t experienced them yet , please give them a try . I usually don’t do reviews but this one was a must. Will definitely be back for more .“

“Our group of 9 all enjoyed our visits to Single Fin while we were in town. They have a good selection of signature cocktails. Everyone in our group found something they enjoyed. We also enjoyed our food so much our first visit, we made it a point to go back a second time. Teddy was wonderful and provided great service, laughs, and advice of things to check out while we’re in town. I highly recommend a visit to anyone who enjoys delicious and flavorful food and a relaxed atmosphere!“

“It was our first time at Belmont Park and this was the first place we ate at. My wife and I split a large fries and the souvenir drink and I had the fried chicken sandwich. I thought the food tasted really good! The fries have this great battered texture and are irresistable to eat. The chicken sandwich had a touch of apice that helped keep the flavors just interesting enough. The chicken could have maybe been a little thicker and the prices could have maybe been slightly cheaper but I have no real complaints. We'd eat here again!
Oh, and after leaving a review on Yelp, we were able to get free soft serve ice cream. We really appreciated the gesture, though the ice cream was just OK. Not much flavor.“

“I’m a big fan of seafood, so I decided to stop by fish district to see what they had to offer. I had the calamari fritta, shrimp basket and bread pudding. The fried calamari was right on par with any restaurant found in Naples, Italy. The beer fried batter that is found on the shrimp and fries are delectable and I’m not sure if their cocktail sauce is made in house or not but it pairs well with the seafood, it’s second to none. The bread pudding was a bit dense and dry for my liking, but not bad
By any means. Make a visit, you won’t be disappointed.“

“Excellent fish items. Fishes are high quality. Grilling is almost perfect. Marinade, especially cajun, is supreme. Portions are sufficient. Service is above board except that ordering is at the counter and not on your table. Overall, a high caliber restaurant.“

“Amazing fish and chips, was approved by a buddy of mine from London as well. Food came out fast, hot, and just so fresh. Owner is a fantastic individual - cant praise the food and establishment enough.
