I’m a big fan of seafood, so I decided to stop by fish district to see what they had to offer. I had the calamari fritta, shrimp basket and bread pudding. The fried calamari was right on par with any restaurant found in Naples, Italy. The beer fried batter that is found on the shrimp and fries are delectable and I’m not sure if their cocktail sauce is made in house or not but it pairs well with the seafood, it’s second to none. This place has the best poke bowls! The large poke bowl has so much fish. Decently priced and tastes great. I do wish they had a seared ahi sandwich on the menu. Depending on who is working, sometimes they will make it, but it always comes out different. Still, there regular menu items are always great.
This place has excellent food and service! I wound up trying the Manhattan chowder, and it was excellent, and my mom said the New England chowder was as well. Mom had the Fish and Chips, and I had the Shrimp Basket - they have that with 4 or 6 shrimp and I got six but they're BIG. The batter on both was excellent, as are the fries. The soft drinks were "Mexican cola" which isn't the same as Mexico-version Coke but it was very good. I have 4 stars because while...
