Tried the one at the nex san diego. Was a ok burger. Fries were ok but a little soggy should have had a little crunch but they didn't. Overall not bad but was definitely not a 23 dollar burger and fries. Won't spend the money on 5 guys again. Was not worth that much. Have had much better burger and fries for alot less.
This place has good food and quick service, something I've had a somewhat difficult time finding consistently in Cali. Unfortunately a major turn off is the foods prices. When you gotta drop 10 for the burger, 4 for an absurd amount of greasy fries and 3ish for a drink, you might have well as gone to a better dinner area. Food for thought; there's places you can get a decent sized steak for a similar price
You can’t go wrong with a fresh greasy juicy burger. Pricey, but nothing looks like it’s been sitting there, everything is made to order. All the veggies look like they just got picked and their customer service is outstanding.
