I’m usually here almost once almost every weekend normally ordering the Pacific Northwest Smoked Salmon. Gets the job done, leaving me satisfied. If you plan on grabbing a seat, just expect small accommodations at the place itself.

Ordered them through DoorDash twice in a week, my drink has been missing both times, the first time I thought maybe the DoorDash driver took it but 2 times in a week with the same drink it’s definitely on the store. I called and spoke to a lady and she wasn’t helpful. She said different things, at first she said my drink wasn’t there and it was the doordash drivers fault but then she said the doordash driver did not grab my drink and it was still there and at told me that I don’t understand how doordash works. I love the smoothies from here and that’s why I keep ordering but I will not be ordering again due to horrible customer service and also the fact they won’t give me what I paid for.

Bagels should be automatically toasted, but if you want it toasted, then you need to specify. 30min wait only for them to say that they ran out of the bagel I ordered and that it’s another 15 min for them to make. I like the place. Just hope for a better efficient process and experience.

They're open again! I came in here after the remodel to have my beloved bagel with cream cheese , Swiss cheese,avocado tomato and red onions. Yum yum! This place never disappoints! Always leave here completely satisfied. Thank you!

I think they deserve the title of best bagel shop in San Diego. Not only do they have a ton of options (sooo many options!), but the QUALITY and taste is wonderful. I usually get the golden scramble with sausage on a sesame bAgel or the garden vegetable.

Will not be going back! Although this place has big fluffy bagels the staff handle the food with their bare hands!! The "baker" comes and flips the bagels out with her bare hands... no gloves. One of the line workers came out and repeatedly just grabbed the bagels, again, BARE handed. Two other line workers had gloves on... except... one touched her face with the gloves on and then just kept right on making sandwiches.... I worked in a bagel shop in high school - this is absolutely disgusting! Also, we went at prime time on a Sunday and waited almost 30 mins for 2 bagels with cream cheese that I asked to be toasted - that weren't. Wasn't about to wait another 30 mins to get it right.

Our family is a regular. I’ve tried multiple popular bagel spots in the LA area (Maury’s, Courage, NY Bagel & Deli) but, to be honest, I prefer the bagels here at Golden Bagel. Great tender chew with a pleasantly firm crust and shiny exterior. New York Bagels & Cafe nearby is also good, with a similar price point.
