This is a nice little spot for breakfast foods. The food comes out fast and it is a very busy environment. Good customer service and decent food.

It's a nice place. The food is nice, not really for me, but everyone with me said that it was nice. The people were friendly. The location was nice. The wait time wasn't terrible

Ran into this spot, literally when running. Pulled over to get brunch because my tummy be grumbling. Sat at the bar and hammered down a good balanced memosa which paired well (after the 3rd drink came in) with the Florentine benedict. Place was packed but the noise was surprisingly low. Overall... good food, good drink, good times.

Came to get a quick bite to eat for breakfast. Server was rude, she was rushing to take our order. Didnt even wait for us to say thank you. I overheard her ask the table behind us "are you guys surviving in the corner over here?" Seemed like she was the one barley surviving. The food was not worth the price. The atmosphere was nice but overall mediocre. What else can you expect for Downtown.Kid-friendliness: Didn't offer a highchair. The server kept giving my kids dirty looks like she didn't want them there.

The perfect spot to relax and enjoy some unique food. The coffee is excellent. Order the hash browns! My kids loved the blue berry pancakes! They taste so fresh. The fresh fruit completes any dish.Parking: Paid parking lot across the street.Kid-friendliness: Great menu options for kids to eat healthy.

I came in to this small restuarant since I was looking at their reviews. As I walk in I notice they had a sign to please wait to be seated. I stand there for a quite few minutes until I got aknowledge. I got asked if I wanted to seat at the bar since it was just me and I said yes. As I was there. I also waited a couple minutes just to get my order taken. I got coffee and ordered the patty melt. The coffee tasted fresh and really good. I was almost done with my cup when I got my food. The patty melt had a nice toasty crunch which was nice. The patty on the other hand was med well. Even though I had asked for med rare. I cut the sandwich in half and only got to eat that much. The meat was lacking flavors and seasoning. Tasted like a meat with nothing on it. The tater tots were good but where on the crunchier side. I like mine a little softer but I didn't know tha's how they made them. They started to get more people inside and out and which I thinj I heard them say they had space next door. Luckily I was able to get refill on my drink. Only bad thing is that they didn't even ask how was the food. After I was done I was not touching the food so they will notice I was done. That wasn't the case. I had to ask for a box and the check other wise they wouldn't do nothing. I gave this place 3 stars cause it was lacking service and the food was really bland to me. Hopefully other things on the menu are good.

The food is not that great. The staff is super kind friendly. Everything we had lacked flavour, omelette needed salt at least, the seeet potato/beet hashbrown shouldn't be served, so bad. Pancakes were not great. Chilaquiles are really bad too.

We were told there was a 20 min wait but we stood outside for 45 mins and finally got seated, there was plenty of room for seating not sure why we waited for so long.

We decided to eat here because of the really nice reviews. It was not a very good experience. We got two types of eggs Benedict(crab and salmon) and both were very lacking. We ordered some coffee and one of our mugs had a whole lip stick stain on it which was disturbing. We also got a breakfast burrito which was actually really good(only reason for the 2 stars). We got pancakes and they were gritty feeling and tasted like the batter wasn't mixed well. There was also a very intense smell in the restaurant that was sorta nauseating.

This has neighborhood elevated diner/breakfast place written all over it. I enjoyed it very much and I can see making it a regular place. I thought the only drawback really was that it was a bit expensive for this type of place, but it is downtown San Diego so…I had the bagel breakfast sandwich, which next to Pipes was the best one I have ever had. The potatoes, however, were better. I love the open air feel. Everybody was friendly in a good mood. It’s that kind of place.Parking: I didn’t really pay much attention to parking, so this should be the least informative part of my review. I just know the neighborhood and you don’t always get all the parking you want. Within a couple of blocks, though, there is metered parking, and pay for parking lots. Occasionally you’ll find a free spot too.Kid-friendliness: It’s not catering to kids, but they were plenty there and everyone seem to be having a good time. It’s what you would expect from a breakfast place.Wheelchair accessibility: It was on the ground level, so getting in with a wheelchair is not difficult. The outdoor seating is set up on a little staging, so that would be a little difficult. Once you’re inside the restaurant it’s pretty tight too.

I have been twice and both times have been great, the food is very delicious and the portions are large, although you do have to go relatively early because it gets very crowded.

The omelette was tasty and was a huge portion compared to what I'm used to. The service was very fast and friendly. Clean and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend!
