We were guests at the Sheraton Harbor Resort. We decided to invite a friend to join us for dinner during our stay. We sat for several minutes without drinks or service. The staff was preparing the dining room for breakfast around us. Nobody greeted us. The water tasted like chlorine. Our server did not present as trained and was flustered even though there were only two other tables with guests in the entire dining room. The food was acceptable, but service was terrible. I would recommend not eating at Rumorosa. Take an Uber into Little Italy or the Gaslamp instead. Very disappointing experience and very expensive. Our server seemed irritated that we left him a 10% gratuity. He really did not deserve a tip at all.

Great opportunity to host a birthday celebration ? for out of town guests! Thanks to the team for being so generous with their service time despite staying between transitioning between breakfast and lunch options. We will return to enjoy again!

Great Baja/San Diego food vibe. Very different than the norm and I love it. Dantarius was our server and he was vey intuitive. I’m a fan as this hotel was lacking in all departments before the renovation.

The food needs serious attention.Nachos had no meat, no beans, nothing on top except cilantro. Sauce on side. Baja tacos, no sauce. Ice tea $6.....Friendly service, good atmosphere.McDonald's has more to offer. What a shame.

The food here was phenomenal!! We tried the Esquitas, Tetalas, the pork chop, and the guava mousse dessert. The Esquitas and the Guava dessert were especially delicious. We were lucky to run into Jeremiah as well. He helped get us sat and made us feel very welcome. I would 10/10 recommend this place!

The food was severely over priced and did not taste good. I got the 60$ ribeye that came out looking like it has been cured and not cooked, tough and gross. My other half got the 40$ salmon and first bite he said it wasn’t good. We were hungry so we ate what we could. Later in the night I threw it up. Food was horrible, everything else was okay. It was also weird that we were sat way away from everyone else in the dining room. ??‍♀️??‍♂️

It’s been said; A Great Day at a women's convention, always starts with a Great Breakfast! (I’ve always found this to be true!)I spent a day at a convention at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina. A couple of friends and I, started our morning with breakfast at Rumorosa's.The view was as breathtaking as I am under dive bar lights! (I no longer frequent bars, but when I did, I actually look like a Goddess, in dim lights. That's how I snagged my favorite current and hopefully last husband’s (Ray), attention. That’s a fun juicy love story for another time!)Menu described their breakfasts so well, it made my mouth water! I ordered the Horchata Overnight Oats (I’m gonna try and copy this recipe!) and was extremely happy! My tastebuds were doing the cha-cha! One of my friends ordered the Churro Pancakes. She said they were delicious (I can’t confirm, I didn’t get a chance to try them)...until she ran out of syrup, only a small amount of syrup came with the breakfast. She kept trying to get any servers attention for more syrup. She asked one of the table runners for syrup, he never returned with it. Finally our server came back to our table to check on us, pancakes were cold by then. She asked, if she could just warm them up in the microwave and if we could have more syrup. She came back to table and told us; her manager said "no, we can't warm them for you, but we are taking them off your bill." While that was really great customer service, taking not only the pancakes off the bill, but her entire breakfast! She really only wanted them heated (actually I did, because I was dying for a bite). It was very busy, so the manager and staff deserve some grace. (They were busier than cats at a laser show! )The presentation of food was not deceiving it was exactly as described! (Unlike the deceiving men, that I've met in my past)I can't wait to try another meal at Rumorosa's!

We just had the continental breakfast here a couple of times during our stay and every staff member was great. Service was prompt and friendly. The renovation is done here and the decor is very nice and we loved the big windows facing the marina. We did the yogurt parfait and it was delicious and the pastries that come with the continental breakfast were also very good. The apple jam is especially good but the hibiscus one was also pretty good. On our second morning the pastries were actually warmed up and we're much better that way so ask to have it done if taking the continental breakfast.

We were very lucky to have met Chris Portillo, the Manager, by chance. Super gentle, he helped us finding our way to our room and took the opportunity to tell us that Rumorosa was opening for dinner.Great selection of well crafted mexican-inspired preparations!Keep up the great work, Chris and team! I ordered the lox and bagels. It came with pickled onions (a Very small amount) and three cherry tomatoes that were hard as rocks. Very disappointing.

Harbor Edge was closed for renovations, had I not called to confirm my reservation, even though open table confirmed, my sister's birthday surprise would have been disaster. Does open table keep track of status of restaurants that are closed for business?

Beautiful views and a nice selection of food are a great combination for hotel dining. My husband and I were staying at this hotel and had dinner here before we headed out to a concert. The staff was very friendly. The cauliflower appetizer was amazing. We asked for blue cheese instead of Buffalo ranch. The caesar salad was simple yet yummy. The pizza was fantastic. The large is huge, and the leftovers made for a great late night snack after our concert. Overall, we had a lovely dinner here.

The Sheraton has been a favorite for Mother's Day Brunch and Other Holiday Events since back to the 1970's. We had been loyal customers up till all the problems affecting our favorite restaurants during COVID and related business interruptions. We are pleased to see Harbor's Edge getting back into the flow, and felt the price, style and selection of the Mother's Day event fits well into the new economic environment. Also pleased that the friendly and professional wait staff attitude has remained.

Excellent ambient with a solo guitarrist playing throughout the meal. Beautiful views and a variety of tasty buffet style food with scrumptious desserts. The dining tables were surprisingly spread out giving us plenty of privacy for our intimate conversations. Will definitely come back.
