Pretty chill place to go for brunch and cocktails. I was there around lunch time on a Saturday and it was just the right crowd. Not too many people.

During a recent stop in San Diego, I had the pleasure of dining at Harley Gray on my way out of town—and it was the perfect way to end the trip. Located in Mission Hills, this charming neighborhood spot offers a calm yet upbeat atmosphere that sets the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

Behind the bar, Nick stood out for his personable service and quick drinks. Speaking of drinks, let’s talk about that Bloody Mary. A spicy kick without the full-on fire, and garnished just right. The lilikoi raspberry frozen drink was dangerously good. One sip and I was ready to extend my trip. 🌴😜

The menu includes thoughtful nods to Hawaii, which I especially appreciated. These items included loco moco and the macadamia banana pancakes. Though I appreciated the nods to Hawaii I opted for the French toast—and it did not disappoint. Cooked just right with a balanced texture and full of flavor, it was both comforting and satisfying.

With friendly service, island inspired flavors, and a vibe that makes you wan to linger longer, Harley Gray is a standout for breakfast or brunch in San Diego. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s well worth the visit.

Stopped in at Harley Gray Kitchen & Bar for Sunday brunch, and it’s definitely a cool spot with a great atmosphere. The vibe was inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive. While the menu had plenty of options, the food itself was just okay, especially considering the price point—I expected a little more flavor and creativity for the cost. That said, it’s still a nice place to relax and catch up with friends over a meal.

Great place for bottomless momos as you can see from my girlfriend. Melanie was a wonderful waitress! Delicious breakfast, thankyou

Had my birthday brunch here 5 years ago and been a customer ever since.

5 stars, service is always amazing. $10 endless mimosas on weekends. Amazing choices of breakfast. The bacon is always perfectly crispy. Never a let down here, one of my favorite brunch places.

Another incredible experience on my travels across the country. Adrienne (?) was very attentive and made great conversation. Met some people, had some drinks (excellent sangria!), tried ceviche for the very first time and will do so again. Looking forward to coming back here soon.

Whenever I visit San Diego, this is a must stop on Lobster Thursday night!
The staff always nice, I get my usual spot at the bar and enjoy.
Get there for Happy Hour, Appetizer, and beer, then dinner.
Summer time is awesome too, when they open the windows and walls for the open air.

Great brunch at Harley Gray! Very friendly and quick service. We sat on the dog friendly patio. We started with the ahi tuna poke which was very tasty. For entrees we had the lobster Benedict and loco moco. Everything was very yummy. Recommend, they have a great drink menu as well!

We came for brunch on a Sunday. The food and service were good. And $10 mimosas?! Yes, please! The only downside is that it was very loud and hard to talk to those at our table. It’s almost like all of the tables are competing with each other because the acoustics are non-existent.

Such friendly and great service. Comfortable, beautiful and great ambiance. The French toast was delicious, coffee was flavorful and hot and unlimited sparkling wine was a great deal

The burger and fries i ordered were delicious. Our server was rather distracted. He was serving a group of females who kept wanting him to leave work and party with them. They kept calling him over and it took a long time to have our order taken for food and drinks along with getting the check.

We had brunch with bottomless mimosas here. It was a great deal we got 4-5 refills on the mimosas which was as much as I could drink. We came Friday at lunch time and it wasn't to crowded. The food was also good, not the best brunch food I've ever had but really enjoyable. I had the buddha bowl and my boyfriend had a carnitas omlette.

Vegetarian options: The Buddha bowl and burger with beyond patty are vegan and they have some vegetarian brunch items

Lately San Diego has become flooded with restaurant groups that are flashy and trendy, with cool atmospheres but mediocre food. Skip those places and come to this simple neighborhood spot with food that is actually really good. Best local halibut I’ve had in SD. Great service too.
