“Just got home from an incredible birthday Breakfast at Mira mesa IHOP, our server Laura delivered amazing costumer service and went above and beyond to ensure that our party was taken care of we came with our entire family and the Manager Maria and all the staff were very accommodating and did not rush us , all of our appetizers and omelets and entree’s tasted incredible and our Beverages were excellent as well, we really like the new tres leches cold brew and the new pineapple splashers, my only small grievance is that you guys didn’t have any chocolate cake in the menu anymore , but we were satisfied with the chocolate pancakes Laura suggested and the birthday candle, this ihop location is definitely our favorite restaurant for special occasions. The staff were all amazing and extremely friendly , we will definitely come back to dine here .“

“Reliably delicious pancakes and breakfast food! We came on a Friday night craving breakfast food and IHOP did not disappoint. My husband generally doesn’t care for pancakes but we stopped by an ihop recently and got pancakes and now he’s obsessed with ihop pancakes! We got the buttermilk pancakes with chocolate chips this time and I really like their spicy poblano egg benedict if you like spicy, their eggs have been perfectly poached the last two times I got it. Prices are much more reasonable compared to other diner type restaurants nowadays.
I haven’t gone to an ihop for almost a decade simply because I forgot about it. But now we will certainly be back regularly! Our waitress was so nice too!

“My experience at IHOP was fantastic, thanks in large part to Claudia, our server. She was very attentive and helpful throughout our visit, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, especially the sirloin tips, and the service made the entire meal even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this IHOP for great food and excellent service!“
“Not an IHOP regular, so I don't have much to judge by, but placing it against my extensive Denny's experience, this place is a delight.
Shout out to our waitress Sandra, whoever wrote in a different review she was rude must have been having a bad day, the coffee is AMAZING, with it being a new type IHOP is using, and our food was cooked with love.
Be nice to your servers y'all, these people work hard and don't deserve the hate. I'll be returning to this anytime I want to HOP into some pancakes.“
“This is a place we like to eat, most of the time are breakfast, or lunch, only a few times we have dinner there. We like the atmosphere of the place, where you can go and relax, have company and be able to have a great conversation, the flavor of the food is good the service is great and the place is nice, if you go on weekend you need to wait some time, depends on the time of the day. But is a good place that I can recommend.“
“Mrs Emma served my daughter and I. She was very sweet, and attentive. Although she seemed to be the only waitress working at the time, she still made sure to check on us regularly. The food was really good and fresh. We will be coming here again if only to have Mrs Emma take care of us!“
“5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD! Came in on a Sunday night, expected it to be busy but it was chill. Our waitress was this super sweet elder lady, and she definitely had her hands full being the only server on duty. Sat us quick and took our order just as fast!“
“The food is good, the people is really kindly and gave the best service that they can. But I don't know why they schedule just 1 people to attend!
I am a frequent customer at the mornings around 6 am to 7 am and always have only 1 people to get the dine in orders, to go orders, attend the customer, etc.. so even if they are very kindly it is imposible give a good service to the people because we have to wait 15 min yo get a standard breakfast sampler, and another 10 min to get the check and pay.
This is a high traffic restaurant in the morning due to the otay border so I suggest add 1 people more to attend the customer.“
