We were on our way to the cinema and I was really craving a burger and there it was - Islands, just by the movie theatre. We went it, ordered some sweet potato fries, lettuce wrap burger and soda. Good service, delicious food, and decent portion size. Overall really good

I came in and the waitress, I can't remember her name but she looked young and had on a really nice outfit, she was so sweet and helpful! My food came out quickly and was delicious.

I love this place. I always get the cheddar fries and I add bacon and chili and I get a pina colada. It's an appetizer and it's big enough to feed two people so I don't even have to get anything else. Plus I always love the staff they're nice and the atmosphere is always great. Definitely recommended.

I have to admit I’m a big fan of islands restaurants. I have no clue that the service was extremely slow and the food came out cold. I’m sitting in a bar. It was only three people sitting there and it felt like forever to get something I had to ask numerous times for a refill.
I ordered the cheese French fries that came out cold also ordered a turkey burger that was not even cooked right.
Not one time did they offer to replace it or take it off the bill. I decided just to pay for it and did not finish my meal.

I was just told that they close at 9:30 pm on sunday but google said 10pm.

Perfectly located right next to the movie theater and right off the freeway. Its my go to spot before catching a flick at the Regal. Bartender Brian makes the best drinks and is a super cool guy. The corn dog kids meal is big hit with my son.

Food was fresh, prepared with care & great tasting. Servers are attentive & very helpful. I arrived approximately 1hr before closing. The employee s didn't skip a beat. They were great!

Still a great dining option at Mira Mesa.
With tons of parking and a clean and spacious dining area, it is a solid choice for burgers, tacos and drinks. Don't forget they have delicious cheese fries!
Staff are friendly and accommodating.
There are many TVs throughout that allow you stay up to date with your favorite sports teams or catch a movie about surfing.
The island vibes are always chill.
Remember to tip well.
