We had an excellent meal here after arriving in town late and happening upon Isola. The carpaccio and fried cauliflower were excellent, as was the Neapolitan style pizza. Friendly service. If we lived here we would be regulars!

We had a reservation and were seated quickly. After waters were poured, we waited 20 minutes with no one coming over to our table to take our drink orders. Finally, I had to ask someone walking by if we had a server. He apologized and sent someone over to take our orders. The service got better but wasn't great. The food and drinks were delicious though. We frequently eat at isola and this was a sub par experience.

We had cocktails, bruschetta, pizzas, budino and Sicilian pistachio gelato. We had Chianti Classico and the Little Italy cocktails. The wine was very good and full bodied and the Little Italy cocktails were very good. We had the regular bruschetta and the one with burrata and prosciutto. Both were very good but the burrata was fantastic. We had 4 different pizzas and all were excellent. The white pizza with brie, the prosciutto, sausage and the 4 meat. All were excellent with thin crust, wood fired in house and all very fresh ingredients. The desserts were fantastic. The gelato was very creamy and flavorful and the budino was like a very luxurious chocolate mousse. The gentleman that bussed our table kept our water topped up, our table clear and checked on us often. I will return and recommend Isola for others.

My colleague and I arrived four minutes before the restaurant closed and were served very nicely. We were able to order our dinner and continue eating in peace. During this time, the service staff kept coming back to us to ask if we needed anything else and refilled our water glasses. Even though they had already finished work for the day, they were very attentive and friendly. Thank you very much for your professionalism, the hospitality and the good food 🍀😇🍕

Verdure Al Forno (wood roasted vegetables, goat cheese, garlic confit, bagna-cauda dressing on the side) I really love how a little vegetables but not oily at all and quite large portion size on there. Be ask for the dressing on the side but didn't really need it after having that garlic and the goat cheese and chicken. Chicken was a little overcooked though so a little bit of a minus point there but love how they actually gave us that whole bulb of garlic and we could squeeze it out which was fun.
Salamino Piccante Pizza (spicy salame, mozzarella, tomato sauce, basil, parmigiano) 10/10 Just the perfect amount of spice and good balance of everything going on. Quite a good pizza to be honest! Crust was nice and thin and sides had good amount of bread (some might find it much though). Some portions were a little less done, but I think they just took this out a little early.
Mozzarella Affumicata. E Peperoncini Pizza 10/10 (smoked mozzarella, spicy cherry peppers, tomato sauce, parmigiano) Damn they actually got this spicy! But a good spicy though. Simple and delicious!
Ortolana Vegetariana Pizza (eggplant, zucchini, broccoli, olives, bell pepper, mozzarella, fontina) 9/10 White sauce pizza that was actually quite loaded with vegetables which was nice. The other vegetarian pizza felt a little empty on top in comparison with this, but this was nice! The eggplant was not very flavorful though.
Ricotta & Spinach Ravioli - 9/10 very flavorful And I was surprised how stuffed and lovely it was! The portion size is fairly small in comparison with all the other food, but that's how raviolis usually are. So definitely recommend getting something else if you're planning on getting this for your entree.
Friends got some olives for the table and it was nice how it came with some bread on the side. That bread was finished even before the olives haha.
As for service, beyond the server, I wound say the lady who was cleaning the table and such was a real gem! She only spoke Spanish and neither of us did, but she really helped us out! Offered us a new table that was away from the door since we were cold, and even got me honey when I asked for some to add to my pizza.

Isola Pizza Bar in Little Italy is just as exciting as it was to dine at Isola Bakery the first time! Known for pizza and pastas, I decided that I would get a charcuterie board for my main dish and enjoy the appetizers, the bruschetta with fresh focaccia and the soup and salad. I enjoyed it each dish so much but especially dessert! They do a great panna cotta here and it's rare for me to find one that meets all my criteria for being great so great job to them!
