We had an excellent meal here after arriving in town late and happening upon Isola. The carpaccio and fried cauliflower were excellent, as was the Neapolitan style pizza. Friendly service. If we lived here we would be regulars!
We had a reservation and were seated quickly. After waters were poured, we waited 20 minutes with no one coming over to our table to take our drink orders. Finally, I had to ask someone walking by if we had a server. He apologized and sent someone over to take our orders. The service got better but wasn't great. The food and drinks were delicious though. We frequently eat at isola and this was a sub par experience.
We had cocktails, bruschetta, pizzas, budino and Sicilian pistachio gelato. We had Chianti Classico and the Little Italy cocktails. The wine was very good and full bodied and the Little Italy cocktails were very good. We had the regular bruschetta and the one with burrata and prosciutto.
