Where the Imperial Beach locals eat Mexican food. We used to eat here all the time in the late 80s and 90s, and it hasn't changed. Simple, authentic, well-prepared food and great service. Park around back and go on through the back door.
Great food, i recommend the enchiladas, but everything Ive tried has been great. This is a locals, favorite sitdown hole in the wall. You won't be disappointed.
Jalisco's is a restaurant I went to weekly when I lived in Imperial Beach. The food has been consistently delicious every time I have been there over the last 30+ years. I am glad to see they are still in business and even happier that the food is still the same great items they have always had. They also have the best chunky salsa on the planet.
