The service is not that good, you need to ask or go to a bar every time you want a drink. The food's alright, but the burgers are tiny. Heads up, if you swap your Sprite for a Coke, they'll charge you extra. Also the simulator games have many glitches that doesn't run smoothly. I wouldn't recommend visiting that place if you're just visiting San Diego; however, if you live there, perhaps a single visit would help you decide if you enjoy it. I leave here and I wouldn't go back again.

Unfortunately, this is one of the scammy and sleazy bars in the Gaslamp area that should be avoided.
First, when you book their simulators, they actually force you to tip 20% on the cost of the actually simulation. So essentially, if you book a $125 simulator, there is an automatic gratuity added of $25 for the bartender, plus any additional drinks you order. They also ask if you want to tip additional without telling you the automatic gratuity has been applied. With this said, I wouldn't have left this review if the below didn't happen but wanted to make sure any future customers were aware of this practice as there are tons of other bars that offer simulators for less than half the cost.
I booked two simulators on during the Valentines day special where you would supposedly get 3 free sim vouchers (see attached picture). The special indicates as long as you book the specific special on Open Table between 2/12 - 2/16, you would get the vouchers upon your first visit.
When I wrapped up my two simulators on Valentines day weekend, I asked the bartender about the vouchers and he indicated we would receive them through the email we booked. We never received anything so I tried emailing and got zero response after a week. I also tried calling several times and no one ever picks up. I wanted to give the company one more chance and sent an message through their social media page, and again, no response. It's now obvious the vouchers were a scam/ploy to get customers as they are never fully booked out.

When we entered the establishment, we asked the bartender about the cost to use the virtual golf machines. He told us it was "one twenty-five an hour." When we asked for clarification, he responded in a deliberately ambiguous way, leading us to believe it cost $1.25 per hour instead of $125 per hour.
As we played, the technology for various games—such as football, skee ball, and golf—was so buggy that the low price of $1.25 seemed plausible. We only discovered the true price after another customer informed us that they had been similarly misled.
As tourists, we were completely caught off guard by this. Where we're from (New Orleans), bars often provide cheap or even free games as an incentive to buy their drinks—which, unlike this place, aren’t watered down. This made the $1.25 rate seem reasonable and believable.
It’s deeply disappointing that this business operates in such a dishonest, parasitic, and predatory way. At least the darts were reasonably priced.

Wir haben hier Mitte Juni ein Budlight für stolze USD 7 getrunken. Bei der Rechnung wurde neben der Steuer noch eine „Surcharge“ hinzugefügt. Mit solchen versteckten Gebühren werden die Konsumenten in die Irre geführt, statt transparent zu sein und die Preise zu erhöhen. Der Manager weigerte sich, die Surcharge zu streichen - im Wissen darum, dass solche Gebühren ab 1. Juli, also in wenigen Tagen, ohnehin verboten sind.

Had such a great time at Johnny WAHOO Golf bar. The simulator has far more than just golf. I am a terrible golfer ?️♀️ an i was just as terrible with the simulator. But i did have a great time throwing a baseball at the screen. We got lucky and got 2 hours on a Thursday without a reservation. The bartender was so kind and friendly. Great beer and alcohol selection. Between the drinks, the reasonable price, and the different sports and games on the simulator this was a great way to spend 2 hours in gaslamp.
